Devour destroys an enhanced weapon or armor and gives you Enhancement Chance in exchange. You get the Enhancement Chance added to your failstack immediately. It is not stored in your inventory, like Valks.
- Access Devour from the Enhancement window by talking to Black Spirit.
- Click Enhancement > Extract > Devour
- OR click + sign next to Additional Enhancement Chance
- Devour is not available for gear equipped with crystals or gear with Caphras stats.
- Devour is used on weapons of +8 or higher enhancement levels and armors of +6 or higher enhancement levels.
- Devour is only available if your Enhancement Chance is 200 or below.
- There are no item grade restrictions when your character’s Enhancement Chance is 0. However, when your character’s Enhancement Chance is +1 or higher, Devour is only available for green or higher grade gears.
- If you have an Enhancement Chance greater than 0, there is only a chance that a failstack of +1 will be added to your current failstack. (Passive Enhancement Chance from Rulupee’s Adventure Log does not count.)

If I have a 199 FS and I consume a PEN weapon, would I still have a chance at gaining an additional 75 fail stack? Or would I only be eligible for 1 failstack?

Sounds expensive and risky! When you click on the weapon you would like to Devour, inside the Devour UI, it will show you a “Devour Success Rate” of +1 being added. I’m curious, what Devour Success Rate shows for you, using a PEN with your current 199 Failstack!

im wondering what the best gear to use for building failstack from 150 to 200 using the devour method…. and would i purchase the gear to be devoured off market or enhance it myself ?
I can’t seem to add my other tet boss gear from jetina to my failstack they dont seem to work but my muskan boots from jetina did devour for some reason. but my Kzarka nouver and rednose dont seem to add to devour even thouigh I’m still at 106 failstack. even if I reduce my fail stack to zero. I made sure that those Items weren’t reformed nor caphrased also crystal werent put in them.
