Black Spirit’s Adventure is a hidden board and dice game inside BDO. Press Esc → Reward.
- Roll 2 dice and their sum will determine how many spaces you move.
- Gain an extra roll when you have the same number on both dice.
- Click “Acquire” button up to 3 times a day to obtain Black Spirit’s Dice. (30 minute Cooldown)
- You’ll get a chest for reaching a FINISH square
- Finishing one board will move you onto the next board.
- There are 3 different boards and 1 hidden bonus board.
- Earn extra rewards for the total boards finished.
- Arcana Cards are obtained from a CARD square and used by clicking the “Arcana” Storage button at the bottom right corner.

Arcana Cards are special cards that are stored inside Arcana Storage.
To view your cards, click the Arcana button.

Resets the amount of chances left to roll and brings you back to the START square in Black Spirit’s Adventure. Use the Fated Encounter card if you failed to complete the board and you ran out of rolls. |

Doubles the reward of the next landing square in Black Spirit’s Adventure, after rolling the dice. Exclusions: CARD or FINISH squares. Squares you land on after having used another Arcana card for example the square you land on after advancing additional spaces using Pace of Delight Arcana. Only usable on sqaures you land on with a dice roll. Use Nice Fluke card then a Black Spirit’s Special Dice. |

How to Obtain Arcana Cards
- Land on a CARD square and get a random Arcana card.

- Season, coupon, or event rewards
- Arcana Cards are sent to “Arcana” Storage located on the bottom right side of the window.
- You can use the obtained Arcana from this storage.

Black Spirit’s Adventure Completion Rewards
With 42 board spaces to traverse to complete a board, it will take about 7 rolls of the dice. (Assuming an average roll is 3+3=6)
You need a roll close to 9 every time, in order to move 42 squares in 5 rolls.

Bonus After 100 Rounds Finished
There are rewards for Black Spirit’s Adventure for reaching 100 Successful Rounds.
– Rewards for repeated completion require you to have completed at least 100 rounds on the board.
– From then on, you will receive a chest for every 10 completions.
Once you’ve completed 50 additional rounds, the repeated completion rewards will reset, and you will receive the repeated completion reward for 10 rounds upon the next additional 10 rounds completed.

- Added Arcana of Fate system to the Black Spirit’s Adventure game board.
- Arcana cards are chance cards used in the Black Spirit’s Adventure game board.
- The Arcana cards will help you on your Black Spirit’s Adventure. Use them well to obtain your desired rewards or to increase the probability of completing a round.
- You can obtain Arcana in the following way.
- Once your Black Spirit piece lands on the CARD square, you will randomly obtain one type of Arcana card.
- The obtained Arcana will be immediately sent to “Arcana” Storage located on the bottom right side of the window.
- You can use the obtained Arcana from this storage.
- The different types of Arcana are as follows:

1. Pace of Delight – Your Black Spirit piece will move forward for a certain number of spaces. 2. Lucky Day – You will get additional dice rolls to advance to the Finish square. 3. Fated Encounter – All your rolls get rest and you go back to the START square. 4. Nice Fluke! – You will receive double the rewards on the square you had on after rolling your dice. – However, this Arcana cannot be applied to the CARD square, the FINISH square, or the squares you land on after having used another Arcana card. 5. Clattering Rattle – You will obtain random dice which will be stored into your dice storage. 6. Cosmos Cataclysm – Your Black Spirit piece will move to a random square. – However, it won’t be moved to the START square or the FINISH square. |

“Card” Update to the Board Game

The chance cards ‘Arcana’ have been newly-added to the Black Spirit’s Adventure game board.
- Arcana refers to the chance cards that you can use for landing on the CARD square on the Black Spirit’s Adventure board. Each of the Arcana has unique features that could give you various bonus effects.
- From ESC > Black Spirit’s Adventure, you will see the 8th square labeled as CARD.
- If you use a Black Spirit’s Dice to roll and land on this 8th square, you will randomly obtain 1 of the 6 types of Arcana cards.
- You do not have to use your Arcana right away! Any obtained Arcana cards will be sent to Arcana Storage and you can find the button to open this up on the bottom right corner of your Black Spirit’s Adventure window. Open up your Arcana Storage and use your Arcana card whenever you want!

There are 3 cards of this type and Lucky Day Arcana may give you the extra roll you need to finish a round! Do note that only one of these Arcana can be used to get to the FINISH square per each round. Your additional dice rolls carry over to the next round if you don’t get to use your rolls in your current round, but think wisely on when to use your one Lucky Day Arcana per round! |

Fated Encounter |
Instantly upon use, all your rolls get reset and you go back to the START square. If you were going for the FINISH square for the completion reward but failed to do so, this Arcana will give you a fresh start! |

Upon use, you will receive double the rewards on the square you land on after rolling your dice.
Do note that this Arcana cannot be applied to 1. The CARD square, 2. The FINISH square, or 3. You will be able to roll 2 cube dice. The total spaces to move will be decided by the sum of the dots shown on the 2 top surfaces of the dice. (ex. Dice “A” shows 3 dots + Dice “B” shows 4 dots = You move 7 spaces)
If the dots on the surfaces of Dice A and B are the same, you will be able to roll once more after moving. (ex. Dice “A” shows 3 dots + Dice “B” also shows 3 dots = You move 6 spaces then receive a bonus roll, which will allow you to move additional spaces.) |

You can roll 2 of the same dice which has the same number showing on all faces of the dice. (ex. Dice “A” only will result in 5 dots + Dice “B” will only result in 5 dots = You move 10 spaces, then receive a bonus roll!) *Check below for how to obtain |
How to Play
1. You may choose the dice to roll from your collection. If you have more than 5 dice, press the < button to browse all of them.
2. Besides the basic dice (which have 1–6 dots), there are “special” dice with a fixed number of dots. Using these special dice at the appropriate time will help you to move as far as you desire.
3. Select the appropriate dice amongst the many dice you may have, then press the button to roll.
4. Use the “Acquire” button on the lower portion to obtain the Black Spirit’s Dice.
a. Only normal Black Spirit’s Dice can be obtained from the Acquire button.
5. The board has a start and finish square. Reach the finish square within the remaining number of chances to receive the completion reward. If you fail, you will be returned to the start square.
a. Depending on the special dice, you can either aim to complete a round or for a special item on a certain square.
6. You will have 5 chances to roll from the START square.
a. Reach the FINISH within the given number of chances to receive the completion reward.
b. If you fail to land on the FINISH square within the given number of chances, you will return to the START square once more.
7. You will see the number of successful rounds completed on the left-hand side of the board.
8. Landing on the 17th square marked as Bonus will move you to the special board.
9. Check out the “How to Play” section on the right-hand side for more details.
Special Board
- Landing on the special Bonus square moves you automatically to the special board.
- If you reach the FINISH square within 5 rolls or if you consume all 5 chances, the special board will end and you will get back to the normal board.

How to get Special Dice
- With the addition of the All New Black Spirit’s Adventure, all adventurers will be able to claim a Black Spirit’s Special Dice Box once during the entire event period from their Challenge Rewards (Y)!
- There is also a reward for any failed completions of the Black Spirit’s Adventure.
- Use Simple Alchemy in the Processing window to combine Black Spirit’s Special Dice Piece x5 and Black Gem Fragment x1 to get a pair of Black Spirit’s Special Dice that generates a single number. The dice’s number will be randomly given between 1 and 6.
Currently this is the only way to obtain special dice but special dice may be offered later via special events.

Does anyone know if dice expire? Thinking of stockpiling a ton then doing them all at once for fun.
Hello 🙂 I’ve had over 100 dice. They don’t seem to ever expire or reset, even when they change the board.
