Winter Season is Here
22 December 2020 11:00
Winter Season, the third addition of season servers has arrived. Take a look at what’s in store below!
[How Do You Create a Season Character?]
As with previous season servers, go to the Create Character window, choose your character, and select Season Character to create a season character.
You must first have enough character creation slots of course, and you can create only one season character per Family. If you want to create another season character, you must delete the one you had previously created.
[Season Server Benefits]
EXP BOOSTS WITHOUT LEVEL RESTRICTION
Unlike the regular servers, the season servers provide special buffs that will allow your season characters to level up more quickly.
Only season characters can enter the season servers. However, season characters can enter both regular and season servers. Starting from the same point as all other players, you will feel the excitement that a new seasonal content brings you once more.
Also, although the season server provides a Combat EXP increase buff as Olvia server does, this buff does not have any maximum level restrictions on the season server, allowing you to level up your season character incredibly fast.
After the December 22nd (Tues.) regular maintenance, there will be five season servers added just like during previous seasons.
Enjoy 4 Season servers for all adventurers!
- Enjoy the regular season servers and get tips from the other adventures who may have experienced season servers before.
Enjoy an exclusive season server for PvP-lovers!
- The PvP exclusive season server will offer you higher item drop rates! It’s high risk, high return!
LEVELING AID BOXES
If you reach Lv. 10 with your season character, you will get a Leveling Aid Box as a Black Desert Season Pass challenge completion reward.
You receive more items from Leveling Aid Boxes as you level up your character.
Leveling Aid Boxes can be used up to Lv. 61.
Using a Leveling Aid Box will instantly grant you a Combat EXP +100% buff for 24 hours to help boost your character’s growth.
Other enhancement aid items and inventory slot expansion coupons are offered as well.
That’s not all, Winter Season will offer boosted rewards for reaching level 60 and 61!
GET SKILL EXP THROUGH MAIN QUESTS
You can obtain the “[Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze” from <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar whenever you complete main quests for Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah, Valencia, Grána, and Duvencrune.
Use the [Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze to get plenty of Skill EXP and grow your character by learning more powerful skills.
GET ENHANCEMENT GEAR FOR ADVICE OF VALKS
You can accept season exclusive quests from Fughar, one per Family.
Excluding accessories, if you equip 7 TRI (III) Tuvala gears, you will receive 7 Advice of Valks (+40), and if you equip 7 TET (IV) Tuvala gears, you will receive 7 Advice of Valks (+60).
Enhancement Level | Amount Equipped | Rewards |
TRI (III) | 7 | Advice of Valks (+40) x7 |
TET (IV) | 7 | Advice of Valks (+60) x7 |
WINTER SEASON PASS
Black Desert Season Pass challenge completion reward rewards (and Black Spirit Pass rewards in addition for those who have the pass) will also be available during the new Winter Season. Compared to the previous season, 10 more challenges were added for the Winter Season!
One of the new rewards offered this time around is the Old Moon Costume Box!
If you complete one of the challenges offered in the season pass, you can get one of the three new boxes: Old Moon Costume Box (Viper), Old Moon Costume Box (Swiftness), or Old Moon Costume Box (Valor).
Not only will these boxes contain a costume suitable for the class you open it with, but you can also heat the costumes to extract Ancient Spirit’s Crystal – Viper, Ancient Spirit’s Crystal – Swiftness, or Ancient Spirit’s Crystal – Valor!
In addition, the [Season] Coco Leaf from the Autumn Season is no longer available. Instead for the Winter Season you will be able to get [Season] Morning Frostflowers!
Collect [Season] Morning Frostflowers by completing season pass challenges and from Leveling Aid Boxes to exchange for various items.
You will be able to exchange [Season] Morning Frostflowers for big rewards like Manos accessoires, a Tier-8 horse, and so much more! Winter Season, here we come!

SEASON CHARACTER GEAR – TUVALA AND NARU
As with the previous seasons, Season Characters will need to use season-exclusive Tuvala gear.
The Naru gear first introduced in the Autumn season was slightly weaker than Tuvala gear, but they can be obtained during your adventures from Balenos to Mediah.
Naru gear can also be enhanced with Beginner Black Stones and allow you to reach higher enhancement levels more easily compared to enhancing Tuvala gear.
How far did you get with enhancing Naru gear last time? If you want to aim higher this season, run over to <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar now!
Show Fughar a Naru gear enhanced up to PEN (V) level and he will upgrade it to a Tuvala gear of PRI (I) level (of the same gear part) for you!
Don’t forget Naru gear and Beginner Black Stones can be obtained in regular servers as well!
WINTER SEASON GRADUATION
How to Convert Tuvala Gear
When you graduate, you can obtain a total of 13 Tuvala Conversion Stones which matches a full set of gear that allows you to convert the season-exclusive Tuvala gear to normal gear.
Keep in mind that using the Tuvala Conversion Stone will result in items that can no longer be enhanced.
Beware! Each Conversion Stone can only convert one Tuvala item. That’s why you need to be careful when choosing which Tuvala gear to convert for each gear slot! You don’t want to regret accidently converting a TET (IV) Tuvala Helmet instead of a PEN (V) one…
The converted Tuvala gear will retain their “Item Branding”, “PEN (V) Creator Name”, and “Transfused Crystals”.
Lastly, the converted Tuvala gear will be changed to Family bound and can be moved to and equipped by regular characters.
Boss Gear Exchange
You can use the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon you acquire during graduation on a converted Tuvala gear to exchange it for a Boss gear. However, you cannot use Tuvala gear which has a crystal inserted via transfusion for Boss gear exchange.
Only one [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon is given per Family and since you can convert only one of your Tuvala gear parts into a Boss gear, be careful before making the selection!
Tuvala gear used for [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon must be between PRI (I) and PEN (V).
Here are the boss gear that can be exchanged from a Tuvala gear using the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon.
Tuvala Gear | Boss Gear |
Tuvala Armor | Dim Tree Spirit’s Armor |
Tuvala Shoes | Muskan’s Shoes |
Tuvala Gloves | Bheg’s Gloves |
Tuvala Helmet | Giath’s Helmet |
Tuvala Main Weapon | Kzarka Main Weapon |
Tuvala Sub-weapon | Kutum Sub-weapon |
Tuvala Awakening Weapon | Dandelion Awakening Weapon |
When you exchange a Tuvala gear for a Boss gear, it decreases the enhancement level by one.
Please refer to the table below for details.
Tuvala Gear | Boss Gear |
PRI (I) Tuvala Shoes | +15 Muskan’s Shoes |
DUO (II) Tuvala Shoes | PRI (I) Muskan’s Shoes |
TRI (III) Tuvala Shoes | DUO (II) Muskan’s Shoes |
TET (IV) Tuvala Shoes | TRI (III) Muskan’s Shoes |
PEN (V) Tuvala Shoes | TET (IV) Muskan’s Shoes |
Boss gear received via [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon will become Family bound and cannot be registered on the Central Market, but are available for enhancement and Caphras enhancement.
Graduation Gifts
The Gift Box Full of Memories containing many beneficial items and conversion items for graduation will be offered once again for the Winter Season.
For Summer Season, PEN (V) Capotia accessories were offered and for Autumn Season, the Perilla’s Star.
For winter season, the PEN (V): Capotia Belt as Winter Season’s special reward. The special reward can be exchanged for “Season Special Gift Exchange Coupon,” which can be used after graduating the Winter Season.

Autumn Season Servers Guide
26 August 2020 08:00
Autumn Season arrives September 2nd
How Do You Create a Season Character?
In order to create a season character, you must have enough character creation slots.
Go to the Create Character window, choose your character, and select season character to create a season character.
You can create only one season character per family. If you want to create another season character, you must delete the one you had previously created.
Don’t forget to check out two pre-creation events going on right now:
- Autumn Season Character Pre-creation <HERE>.
- Hashashin Pre-creation event “Create and Customize” <HERE>.
What’s Different About the Season Servers?
1. There is no forced PvP available in the season servers except for the Season Arsha server. The only PvP feature available is through guild wars.
2. The World Boss HP is shared with the other regular servers, so you can still defeat the World Bosses from the season servers as well.
Those adventurers who created a season character during Summer Season can also create a new season character.
Season characters can login to both season and normal servers.
(However, only new/returning adventurers can login to the Olvia server.)
Season Server Benefits
Unlike the regular servers, the season servers provide you special buffs that will allow your season characters to level up more quickly.
- 1. Combat EXP +100%
- 2. Skill EXP +20%
Only season characters can enter the season servers. Starting from the same point as all other players, you will feel the excitement that a new seasonal content brings you once more.
Also, although the season server provides you Combat EXP increase buff as Olvia server does, this buff does not have any maximum level restrictions in the season server, allowing you to level up your season character incredibly fast.
You can obtain the “[Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze” from <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar whenever you complete main quests for Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah, Valencia, Grána, and Duvencrune.
Use the [Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze to get plenty of Skill EXP and grow your character by learning more powerful skills
If you reach Lv. 10 with your season character, you will get a Leveling Aid Box as a Season Pass objective completion reward.
You receive more items from Leveling Aid Boxes as you level up your character.
Leveling Aid Boxes can be used up to Lv. 61.
Using a Leveling Aid Box will instantly grant you a Combat EXP +100% buff to help boost your character’s growth.
Season Pass and the Black Spirit Pass
Pass rewards will also be available in the new season.
For the Autumn Season, a special item will be added to the Black Spirit Pass reward pool.
This new item is called a [Season] Coco Leaf.
Take the new items you collect to NPC Patrigio in Velia to exchange for some special items including a weapon exchange coupon.
What can you exchange with [Season] Coco Leaf?

Autumn Season Graduation
For those who want to level up their characters in the season server and continue their adventures in the regular servers, terms have been changed so that you can now graduate early. Don’t forget the Gift Box Full of Memories containing many beneficial items and conversion items will be given as well!
However, early graduation is optional, so you can continue your adventure in the season server if you wish.
Please note requirements and exact details will be revealed at a later date.
How to Convert Tuvala Gear into Boss Gear
During the graduation process, you can use the Tuvala Conversion Stones you acquire from Gift Box Full of Memories to convert Season Tuvala gear into regular Tuvala gear.
You can acquire a total of 13 Tuvala Conversion Stones, which equals to a full set of gear. (1 for each armor piece, weapon, necklace, and belt, and 2 for each earring and ring)
Using Tuvala Conversion Stones will maintain crystals and creator Family name for PEN (V) items.
Also, you can use the Boss Gear Exchange Coupon you acquire during graduation on a converted Tuvala gear to exchange it for a Boss gear.
※ You cannot use Tuvala gear with crystal inserted via transfusion for Boss gear exchange.
Tuvala Gear | Boss Gear |
Tuvala Armor | Dim Tree Spirit’s Armor |
Tuvala Shoes | Muskan’s Shoes |
Tuvala Gloves | Bheg’s Gloves |
Tuvala Helmet | Giath’s Helmet |
Tuvala Main Weapon | Kzarka Main Weapon |
Tuvala Sub-weapon | Kutum Sub-weapon |
Tuvala Awakening Weapon | Dandelion Awakening Weapon |
When you exchange a Tuvala gear for a Boss gear, it decreases the enhancement level by one.
Please refer to the table below for details.
Tuvala Gear Enhancement | Boss Gear Enhancement |
PRI (I) | +15 |
DUO (II) | PRI (I) |
TRI (III) | DUO (II) |
TET (IV) | TRI (III) |
PEN (V) | TET (IV) |
- For example, using the exchange coupon on TET (IV) Tuvala Shoes will give you TRI (III) Muskan’s Shoes.
- Tuvala gear used for [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon must be between PRI (I) and PEN (V).
- Boss gear received via [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon will become Family bound and cannot be registered on the Central Market, but are available for enhancement and Caphras enhancement.
Perilla’s Star
Reward for the Autumn Season Graduation will include a new Alchemy Stone.
Perilla’s Star has the following effects:
- Damage from Monsters -5%
- All Damage Reduction +4
- Recover HP +1 on attack
- All Resistance +5%
- Movement Speed +5%
- Max HP +200
- Max Stamina +100

Also, we have some good news for those who did not receive the Summer Season special reward.

We will share with you details of this with a future announcement.

Changes to the End of Summer Season Item Conversion
02 September 2020 09:00
Greetings Adventurers,
Thank you all for enjoying the Summer Season Server and pre-registering for the upcoming Autumn Season as well.
For those of you who were unable to convert their Tuvala gear or graduate their Season characters, we’ve made some changes to what happens to Summer Season gear and items when the new Autumn Season starts with the September 2nd maintenance.
Please read on for more details!
■ Gift Box Full of Memories
With the start of the Autumn Season after the September 2nd maintenance, even adventurers who did not finish the Summer Season graduation quest, [Season Server Graduation] Into the Big Wide World, will receive the Gift Box Full of Memories reward.
So, if you were not able to finish the [Season Server Graduation] Into the Big Wide World quest during the Summer Season, check your Mailbox (B) for the reward!
■ Tuvala Gear Auto Conversion
The initial plan was to delete all Tuvala gear that had not been converted with Tuvala Conversion Stones when the new Autumn Season starts on the September 2nd maintenance. Well, we have good news for adventurers who could not or forgot to convert their Tuvala Gear!
This means the Tuvala gear will be entered into the Summer Season Character that has been converted back into a normal character. If you had deleted this character, you will not be eligible to receive any converted gear or accessories.
Based on the below Tuvala Gear Auto-Conversion Priority Rule, one piece of gear for each gear slot (2 each for earrings and rings) will be auto converted to gear usable by normal characters.
All remaining Tuvala gear with their respective part already with a converted Tuvala gear will be deleted as announced before. (For instance, if you already have a converted PEN: Tuvala Gloves, all remaining Tuvala Gloves will be deleted)
■ How Tuvala Gear Auto Conversion Works
Tuvala Gear Auto Conversion Priority Rule |
① One Tuvala Gear for each gear slot with the highest enhancement level (2 each for earrings and rings) = 13 pieces of gear For example, if you have PEN: Tuvala Gloves and TRI: Tuvala Gloves, both unconverted, in your bag or storage, your PEN: Tuvala Gloves will be automatically converted. If you have two or more Tuvala gear of the same enhancement level, the following rule will be applied.
② Tuvala Gear with Item Brand Spell Stone Used. For example, if you have a branded PEN: Tuvala Gloves and a non-branded PEN: Tuvala Gloves, the branded gear will be converted. If you have 2 or more Tuvala gear with the same enhancement level and with all of them branded or none of them branded, as in having the same status, the below third rule will be applied.
③ The Most Recently Crafted Tuvala Gear For example, if one PEN: Tuvala Longsword was crafted on August 1st, while the other PEN: Tuvala Longsword was crafted on August 10th (both not branded), the PEN: Tuvala Longsword crafted on August 10th will be auto-converted. |
- All Tuvala gear that do not meet the rule above will be deleted with the September 2nd maintenance.
You can find the auto-converted Tuvala gear in your Summer Season character’s Inventory (I).
Please note that all other Tuvala Gear and Summer Season items subject to deletion, such as Time-filled Black Stones, Ouk Pill of Rift, Secret Book of the Misty Breeze, etc., will be all deleted as well during this week’s maintenance.
Here is the list of Summer Season items being deleted. Note some of these items will be available again with the Autumn Season.
- [Season] New Adventure Box
- [Season] Lv. 15: Leveling Aid Box—[Season] Lv. 61: Leveling Aid Box
- Refined Magical Black Stone Bundle
- Tuvala Ore Bundle
- Tuvala Ore
- [Season] Ouk Pill of Rift
- Time-filled Black Stone Bundle
- Time-filled Black Stone
- Refined Magical Black Stone
- [Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze
Thank you for enjoying the season servers!

- Completing each challenge will reward your Season Character with an item to aid in your character’s growth.
- Purchase the “Black Spirit Pass” from the Pearl Shop (F3) to gain additional special rewards

- Collect Coco Leaves and find Patrigio of Velia to exchange them for a special item. Please note that there is a limited number of exchanges for certain exchange items.

- Although the place where the final star from Perilla to her beloved Fughar is located is still unknown, rumor says that a few clues have been found here and there.
- Added Rift’s Echo, a [Party] Boss Summon Scroll only for Season Servers.
- Rift’s Echo can be obtained by combining 5 Rift’s Fragments. Rift’s Fragments can be gathered from defeating monsters in Valencia, Kamasylvia, and Drieghan, as well as from Savage Rifts.
- Rift’s Echo can only be used in Season Servers, and using Rift’s Echo will summon waves of Violent Boss monsters. Defeating the Violent Boss will grant items that will further aid your Season Character’s growth.
- Rift’s Echo consists of 3 total stages. Completing the Rift’s Echo’s 2nd stage has a low chance to summon special monsters from the rift, and defeating certain monsters within the given time limit will grant an item that will definitely help you in growing stronger. During the Rift’s Echo’s 3rd stage, a Most Violent Boss has a low chance to appear. These bosses are quite powerful, yet defeating them will grant better quality loot compared to other 3rd stage Rift’s Echo bosses.
- Bosses that are drawn to the Rift’s Echo are all Violent, so we recommend facing them with a party.
- ※ Rift’s Fragments can only be obtained on Season Servers.
Autumn Season Server Patch Notes: September 9, 2020
Source: patch notes dated September 9, 2020
- Added challenges to obtain a PEN (V) Tuvala Ring and PEN (V) Tuvala Earring.
- These challenges may only be completed during the season period, and will be achieved once you reach levels 60, 61 with a season character.
The Rebellious Spirit Crystal is an upgraded version of the spirit crystal that could be obtained through the Main Questline. Many adventurers have obtained these spirit crystals over the course of two seasons, yet due to feedback on the crystal’s being somewhat lackluster, we implemented additional effects of Extra AP against Monsters and Skill EXP increase to aid those seeking to further increase their character’s power and/or those leveling alternative characters.

All About Autumn Season Graduation: Oct 16, 2020
Source: “All About Autumn Season Graduation” dated Oct 16, 2020
Greetings Adventurers,
This October 21st is the date that many of you have been waiting for. To be exact, it’s the start date of the Autumn Season Early Graduation!
In preparation for the upcoming early graduation, we put together this guide to explain what you might want to know about the Autumn Season and Early Graduation.
Now then, let’s begin!
What is the Autumn Season Early Graduation schedule?
Adventurers who’ve had their fill of the Autumn Season servers can start their adventures in the regular servers a bit earlier with Early Graduation.
While graduating early from the season server does mean that you can enjoy the regular servers earlier and equip gear that season characters can’t equip, it also means that you will no longer be able to enjoy the perks of the season servers and participate in any season server events.
So, make sure you’re 100% ready before graduating early!
Early Graduation Schedule | October 21, 2020 (Wed) after maintenance–November 18, 2020 (Wed) before maintenance |
Normal Graduation Schedule |
November 18, 2020 (Wed) after maintenance–December 2, 2020 (Wed) before maintenance
※ The end date of normal graduation is subject to change. |
- Please note Normal Graduation is simply for those who want to graduate without meeting the requirements of the early graduation before the Autumn Season ends.
Adventurers who graduate early according to the schedule above are classified as “Early Graduation Adventurers.” However, there are a couple of requirements you must fulfill before you can graduate early. Let’s find out more below.
What are the Early Graduation requirements?
Early Graduation Requirements |
– Achieved at least 228 main weapon AP and 291 DP (This does not include the awakening weapon AP listed in the equipment screen, and is only 228 main weapon AP.) – Adventurers who haven’t bought the Black Spirit Pass must have completed all of the “Season Pass Challenges” and received the rewards. – Adventurers who have bought the Black Spirit Pass must have completed all of the “Season/Black Spirit Pass Challenges” and received the rewards. |
※ AP and DP from the Adventure Logs are not counted for the requirements.
If you do not fulfill the early graduation requirements, you can’t use the “Honorable Adventurer’s Certificate” item to become a regular character, so make sure to complete the Season/Black Spirit Pass Challenges and receive all the rewards before trying to graduate!
Additionally, if you’ve purchased an “[Event] Black Spirit Pass” and haven’t used it, you won’t be able to use the item after graduating, so that’s another thing you need to check your inventories for before graduating!
Now, once you’ve double-checked all the above and fulfilled the requirements, you’re ready to go find your ever-reliable companion in the season servers, the <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar, and accept the quest “[Season Server Graduation] At the Crossroad” to graduate early.
Another thing! Early graduation isn’t something you must do! Adventurers who wish to take their time with the Autumn Season don’t need to graduate early.
Do I have to fulfill the requirements to graduate?
Don’t worry if you can’t fulfill the early graduation requirements.
After the early graduation period, normal graduation begins on November 18th (after maintenance), and anyone who wishes to graduate can do so without having to fulfill the early graduation requirements.
At this point, you’ll also need to go to the <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar and accept the quest “[Season Server Graduation] At the Crossroad” once you want to graduate.
Same as with early graduation, make sure you check your inventories for an unused “[Event] Black Spirit Pass” since you won’t be able to use the item after you graduate!
Perilla’s Star? What’s that?
We know some of you might be curious about the story hinted in the previous Autumn Season GM Note about Perilla’s Star. Thus, we’ve prepared this bit for you!
Presenting the Autumn Season’s special reward – Perilla’s Star!
While the exact details on how to obtain Perilla’s Star will be revealed in future update details, Adventurers who graduate early will still be able to obtain Perilla’s Star. Don’t worry about missing out if you want to graduate early.
And for Adventurers who couldn’t get the PEN (V) Capotia accessory for the Summer Season, once you’ve graduated after fully enjoying the Autumn Season and learned the story behind Perilla’s Star through a special quest, you’ll get a chance to select between the PEN (V) Capotia accessory and Perilla’s Star! Keep this in mind when you’re graduating!
Tell us more about graduation!
Finally, our last corner is for Adventurers experiencing the season servers for the first time with the Autumn Season.
Let us delve into the details below. Just read on if you’re curious!
[STEP 1]
Make sure you’re completely ready before graduating. You can’t enhance Tuvala gear or play on the season servers once you graduate.
[STEP 2]
Once you’re ready, accept the graduation quest from the <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar. You’ll obtain the “Honorable Adventurer’s Certificate” from him, and if you use this item, you will immediately graduate and your season character will be switched to a regular character.
[STEP 3]
After using the Honorable Adventurer’s Certificate, it’s time to convert your season exclusive Tuvala gear.
You can obtain the “[Season] Tuvala Conversion Stone Box” from Fughar, which is a box that contains items that can convert season exclusive Tuvala gear to normal gear.
There is a total of 13 Tuvala Conversion Stones, which matches a full set of gear. Keep in mind that using the Tuvala Conversion Stone will result in items that can no longer be enhanced.
Before I forget! Each Conversion Stone can only convert one Tuvala item. That’s why you need to be careful when choosing which Tuvala gear to convert for each gear slot! You don’t want to regret accidently converting a TET (IV) Tuvala Helmet instead of a PEN (V) one…
[STEP 4]
Graduating from the Autumn Season also means that you can obtain the “Gift Box Full of Memories” that Fughar has prepared for you.
Probably the biggest point of the Gift Box Full of Memories is the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon that you can obtain from it! As for this item…it almost “magically” changes a Tuvala gear to Boss gear!!
First, you’ll need to accept a quest from Fughar to use the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon.
– [Season] Even Sharper Weapon: Main Weapon
– [Season] Even Sharper Weapon: Sub-Weapon
– [Season] Even Sturdier Armor: Helmet
– [Season] Even Sturdier Armor: Armor…etc.
And don’t forget! You must make sure the Tuvala gear you’ll exchange has already been converted to normal gear!
What if you’ve already converted the Tuvala gear that you’ll use to exchange and accepted the quest? Then, it’s time to go to Tranan Underfoe, the blacksmith in Veila, and do the following:
① Hand over the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon.
② Hand over the Tuvala gear that’ll be exchanged.
Exchanging for Boss gear will result in the exchanged gear being one enchantment level lower as follows: PEN (V) → TET (IV), TET (IV) → TRI (III). This is something you should know from reading the Autumn Season Servers Guide, right?
Wait, you haven’t read it yet? You don’t know what Tuvala gear can be exchanged for Boss gear?! Don’t wait any longer and take a look at the Autumn Season Servers Guide <HERE>!
[STEP 5]
As you know, Fughar has prepared a “Gift Box Full of Memories” that contains a variety of items for Adventurers who’ve diligently played the Autumn Season.
The Gift Box Full of Memories contains a variety of items such as Cron Stone x100, Advice of Valks, [Event] Secret Book of Old Moon (7 Days), [Event] Elion’s Tear, and more to help you in your adventures in the regular server.
And that’s a wrap for the Autumn Season Graduation, we hope you didn’t miss a single thing!
Until next time!

Original Summer Season News & Notes (Season 1)
Official Season Server News Page: June 3, 2020
News Page Source — from 03 June 2020
Take a sneak peek at Season Servers!
The very first season will be called ‘Summer Season’ and here, you can learn how you can enjoy exclusive benefits with your Season Characters!
- The release of Season Servers for the NA and EU servers, which was originally set for June 10, has been postponed. We will announce further details at a later time. Thank you for your understanding.
What are Season Servers?
Season Servers are focused on character growth.
Season Servers are not limited to specific adventurers. That is, the Season Servers can be accessed by all adventurers. Everyone can enjoy the benefits!
Unlike the Olvia servers which provided benefits to the entire Family, the key difference of the Season Servers is that it provides benefits specifically to the individual character.
Therefore, you need to create a Season Character in order to enjoy the benefits of the Season Servers.
If you feel unsure about which class to choose for your Season Character, don’t forget that you can create Trial Characters to test out all skills including Awakening and Succession skills, so try a class out before creating your Season Character!
Choose one of the Season Servers in the ‘Select Server’ screen, then try creating a Season Character! (During pre-creation period, you will be able to create Season Characters in any server)
*Forced PvP is not possible in the Season Servers. Season Arsha Server, a server that will allow players to engage in forced PvP, will be available within a month after Season Servers are opened.
Creating a Season Character
Only Season Characters can enter the Season Servers, therefore you must first create a Season Character.
You can create a Season Character through the “Create Season Character” button in the character creation window.
Once you have created a Season Character, you will see a special mark in the character selection window which shows you that the character is a Season Character.
Only Season Characters can enter the Season Servers, so make sure you create a Season Character to enter the Season Servers!
As long as you have empty character slots available, any adventurer can create a Season Character.
After Entering Season Server
Are you ready for a new adventure in the fast lane?
You can always press (,) to call out the Black Spirit who will guide you through your adventures in the Season Servers, but the biggest benefit you can enjoy is the EXP boost running 24/7 on Season Servers.
Season Servers will always offer Combat EXP +100% and Skill EXP +20% buff. Also, there are no level restrictions for receiving the EXP buff.
As long as the Season Servers are up and running, your Season Character will receive the EXP buff!
Summer Season Challenges
Go through the main quests offered by the Black Spirit and you will see your character level up fast.
But every Season Character is also given a Season Pass or a free entrance to try and complete various Summer Season Challenges for more rewards.
When you reach Lv. 10 for example, you will also see a flickering Black Spirit mark on the top right corner of your main game screen (left of minimap).
Click on it and see that you will have claimed Leveling Aid Boxes which will give you so various items and instant buffs for opening.
By purchasing the Black Spirit Pass from the Pearl Shop (F3), you will also be able to receive additional benefits for reaching the same Summer Season Challenge.
There’s more to the Summer Season Challenges than reaching a certain level, so be sure to check it out after the Summer Season opens.
Main Quests
Open up the World Map (M) now and see the vast world of Black Desert Online for you to explore.
Through the main quests you can discover the history and stories big and small of Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah and so on. You will also learn about the triumphs and disasters of NPCs you meet along the way.
You can always check the “Main Quest” tab under the Quest window (O) to see your progress.
Your New Best Friend: Fughar
Fughar is a Season Server exclusive NPC who will be located next to the Stable Keepers in large towns including Velia.
<Chief Manager> Fughar offers special daily quests for 40 days for your Season Character to tackle and complete to learn the know-how on adjusting to the gameplay of BDO fast and also receive items to help in your growth.
In addition, complete the main quests in Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah and go see Fughar to receive [Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze which will give you plenty of Skill EXP!
Finally once you complete the final quest, you will receive Advice of Valks (+100) from Fughar after the Season Server ends, and also be able to select either a PEN (V) Capotia Earring or a PEN (V) Capotia Ring.
We advise you to go see Fughar every day!
Rent Gear with Contribution Points
As you complete the main quests offered by the Black Spirit through Balenos, Serendia, and Calpheon, you will have obtained Contribution Points. With Contribution Points you can rent powerful gear to get stronger and make a name for yourself.
Find out more on how to utilize Contribution Points <Here>
Season Server Exclusive Gear: Tuvala
Season Characters are limited to equipping the following three types of gear.
- Gear obtained through main quest rewards
- Gear obtained through loot from defeating monsters
- Season Server exclusive gear: Tuvala
If you felt the deserted lands of Mediah weretoo challenging, try equipping Tuvala gear.
Only Season Characters can use Tuvala gear, and to get Tuvala gear you will need Tuvala Ores. You can get Tuvala Ores by defeating monsters in Valencia, Kamasylvia, Drieghan, and Sycraia Underwater Ruins.
When you have collected enough, you can take your Tuvala Ores to blacksmiths to exchange them for weapons, defense gear, or accessories. Blacksmiths NPCs can be found in most large towns.
You can use the Storage or the Central Market warehouse to move Tuvala gear to a different character, but only Season Characters can equip them.
However, once the Season is over, the Season character will be turned into a normal character, and the Season gear will be turned into regular, family-bound gear. This means you can hand over the gear to any character in your in-game family but not to a character outside your family.
In addition, you can enhance Tuvala gear to make them better.
Tuvala gears have a higher enhancement chance so try using the Time-filled Black Stones and Refined Magical Black Stone obtained from daily quests from NPC Fughar to enhance your Tuvala gear or obtained from defeating monsters.
Enhancing Tuvala gear to at least enhancement level +7 has a 100% success rate. Therefore, you can enhance up to that point with a peace of mind. After that point though, there is a chance your enhancement attempt will fail and the Max Durability of your item will go down.
If the durability of the Tuvala gear goes down if your enhancement attempt fails, go see a blacksmith to recover the Max durability of your gear and try again.
Awakening and Succession
Have you reached Lv. 56 already?
Then accept and complete the Awakening quest recommended by the Black Spirit and try equipping Awakening weapons and perform Awakening skills!
Do you like main skills more than the Awakening skills? Then complete Succession quests to enjoy a stronger set of main skills. One thing to note is you can only try Succession quests after you have completed the Awakening quests.
We highly recommend you try both Awakening and Succession to experience a new way to enjoy your gameplay.
Get Materials from Valencia
Once you have tried Awakening or Succession and continue on with your adventure following the main questline, you will find yourself located in the vast desert area of Valencia.
If you had to obtain enhancement materials for enhancing Tuvala gear via Fughar’s daily quests until now, you will also be able to get these same materials by defeating monsters in regions like Valencia and regions you will get to explore from then on such as Kamasylvia, Drieghan, and Sycraia Underwater Ruins.
It’s time to really start enhancing Tuvala gear.

Enhancement Level | Number of gears that gives you rewards | Reward (per gear) |
TRI (III) | 7 | Advice of Valks +40 x1 |
TET (IV) | 7 | Advice of Valks +60 x1 |
If you have 7 TRI (III) Tuvala gear equipped, you will get 7 Advice of Valks +40 items!
This Advice of Valks items given for having equipped various Tuvala gears is only offered once per family for your Season Character during the Summer Season period, so please make sure to complete it before the season ends!
When you reach level 60 and 61 with your Season Character, you will receive PEN (V) Tuvala Ring and PEN (V) Tuvala Earring via Summer Season Challenges so don’t be lazy in leveling up either.
Graduation – A New Start
Our journey together does not end when the Summer Season ends. Your true story begins after your ‘Graduation’ from the Summer Season.
Graduation Benefits
1) Convert Season Character/Gear to Regular Servers!
Your Season Character will be turned into a normal character. Therefore, the character can no longer access the Season Server. The character will remain at the same level and keep their gear.
Any Tuvala gear your character has will retain its enhancement level but it will no longer be possible to enhance it. The character will also get to keep only one of each type of Tuvala gear, the one that was enhanced to the highest level. Do note that the Tuvala gear will become family-bound.
2) Get a Graduation Gift Box!
For those who have enjoyed the Summer Season, you will receive some graduation-themed keepsakes at the end.
These include Graduation Certificate, Graduation Cap, Graduation Emoji, and Graduation Gift Box.
You can use the Graduation Certificate to convert your season exclusive gear, Graduation Cap to dress up your character and use the free emojis when chatting. Finally, the Graduation Gift Box is like a care package of useful items to help your character get adjusted to life outside the Season Server.
3) Fughar has a special gift for you!
If you had completed all 40 daily quests from Fughar before the Summer Season ends, you will receive Advice of Valks (+100) from and also be able to select either a PEN (V) Capotia Earring or a PEN (V) Capotia Ring.
4) Exchange Season Gear with Boss Gear!
Take the Graduation Certificate to a certain NPC to exchange a piece of Tuvala weapon or defense gear with a boss weapon or gear of comparable stats. This means that the boss gear will be one enhancement level lower than the Tuvala gear.
For example, you can exchange a PEN: Tuvala Longsword for a TET: Kzarka Longsword, or a TET: Tuvala Shoes for TRI: Muskan’s Shoes.
One Graduation Certificate is only valid for one exchange, so choose wisely!
Also, note that the boss armor you get by exchanging a piece of Tuvala gear with a Graduation Certificate cannot be registered on the Central Market.
Tuvala Gear | Boss Gear |
Tuvala Armor | Dim Tree Spirit’s Armor |
Tuvala Shoes | Muskan’s Shoes |
Tuvala Gloves | Bheg’s Gloves |

Season Server Developer Notes: June 17, 2020
Source: Patch Notes 17 June 2020
Only Season Characters can enter the Season Servers, and only one Season Character can be created per Family.
Unlike the regular servers, the Season Servers constantly provide Combat EXP +100% and Skill EXP +20% buffs, which will allow your Season Characters to level up more quickly.
Here are two key aspects about the Season Servers.
1. There is no forced PvP currently available in the Season Servers. The only PvP feature available is through guild wars. However, Season Arsha Server, a server that will allow players to engage in forced PvP, will be available within a month after Season Servers are opened.
2. The World Boss HP is shared with the other regular servers, so you can still defeat the World Bosses from the Season Servers as well.
And for details, please read on below!
Fughar, the Friend of All Season Characters
Fughar’s 40 Daily Quests (Season Quests)
Season Quests are daily quests, which can be received daily from NPC Fughar located next to the Stable Keepers in each town.
These daily quests involve various tasks such as gathering, using specific items, and obtaining knowledge.
When you have completed all 40 daily quests, you will notice how much more prepared you are for the Black Desert world compared to when you first started.
- Reward for completing Fughar’s 40 Daily Quests: PEN (V) Capotia Accessory
|
The PEN (V) Capotia accessories are roughly equivalent to the TET (IV) yellow grade accessories for regular characters, so we absolutely recommend that you complete all 40 daily quests.
Gear Enhancement Aid
You can obtain items which increase your chances for successfully enhancing your gear. All you have to do is talk to Fughar after equipping TRI (III) or TET (IV) grade Tuvala gear, or complete Fughar’s daily quests.
Enhancement Level | Amount Equipped | Rewards |
TRI (III) | 7 | Advice of Valks (+40) x7 |
TET (IV) | 7 | Advice of Valks (+60) x7 |
- The Advice of Valks is only available to collect while the Season Server is open, so make sure you collect it from Fughar before the season ends!
Weapon and defense gear are enhanced in order of +1 through +15, PRI (I), DUO (II), TRI (III), TET (IV), and PEN (V) enhancement levels. PEN (V) is the highest enhancement level available.
Accessories are enhanced in order of PRI (I), DUO (II), TRI (III), TET (IV), and PEN (V) enhancement levels.
When you fail an enhancement for weapon or defense gear at DUO (II) or higher, the enhancement level will decrease.
However, failures to enhance accessories will result in the accessories being destroyed regardless of enhancement level.
Plenty of Skill EXP Support
After completing main quests for Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah, go to Fughar.
You can get the “[Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze” as a reward. When you use this item, you can get plenty of Skill EXP. That means you can learn new skills, or make your current skills stronger.
Having a Hard Time Figuring out What to Do? Just Do Some Main Quests!
If you are uncertain on what you should do during your adventures in Black Desert, we recommend that you complete the main quests of each area with the Black Spirit!
By completing main quests, you can obtain Contribution Points and Knowledge which are helpful for your adventures. You can also gain a lot of Skill EXP!
Simply open up the Quest List (O) window, and go to the “Main Quest” tab to view the main quests. Don’t forget, you can get the [Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze as a reward from Fughar by completing main quests from Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah.
Another reminder: you can get plenty of Skill EXP when you use the [Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze. Don’t miss out!

Q&A
Q. Can I receive the PEN (V) Capotia Accessory even if I delete my character after the 40th day Fughar daily quest?
A. Yes, you can receive the PEN (V) Capotia Accessory even if you delete your character after completing the Fughar quest.
However, please note that the 40th day Fughar daily quest can only be done once per family, thus the PEN (V) Capotia Accessory is only given once per family as well.
Q. The 40 daily Fughar quests sounds like something difficult to complete.
A. Don’t worry! Fughar’s quests cover the fundamentals in learning to play Black Desert, so they are not as daunting as it sounds!
Q. Will the Tuvala gear changed to family-bound gear be sent as a box after the season ends? Or will the obtained gear just be changed to family-bound?
A. When the season ends, the highest grade gear of any duplicate gear will be changed to family-bound and any other gear will be deleted.
If you have more than 2 of the same gear at the same grade in your family, only class specific gear on characters remaining at the end of the season will be bound.
For example, If you have a TET (IV) and TRI (III) Tuvala Helmet, the TRI (III) Tuvala Helmet will be deleted and the TET (IV) Tuvala Helmet will be changed to family-bound.
However, Rings and Earrings will have 2 each be changed to family-bound.
Also, Tuvala weapons will remain the same as the one your character used.
Q. Can you play your season character as a normal character after the season ends?
A. Yes. Season characters will be changed to normal characters after the season ends.
Q. Will I be able to obtain materials for Odore’s Spirit Essence and Ornette’s Spirit Essence on the season server?
A. Item drop chance on the season server is the same as the normal server.
Please note that materials for treasure items are all available as well.
So, season server is a great chance for you to level a new character and collect materials!
Q. Can season characters login to normal servers?
A. Yes, season characters can login to both season and normal servers.
However, normal characters cannot login to the season server.
Q. Is there a level or specific condition to receive [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon for the season character?
A. [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon will be distributed to all adventurers who create a season character.
Q. Can gear received with [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon be enhanced or Caphras enhanced?
A. Yes, gear received with [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon can be both enhanced and Caphras enhanced.
Q. Can gear received from [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon be sold on the Central Market?
A. No, they cannot be registered on the Central Market.
Q. Can gear received from [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon be used by other characters?
A. All gear received from [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon are family-bound.
In other words, you can use them when leveling a new character.
Q. Can season-specific enhancement materials (Time-filled Black Stone, Refined Magical Black Stone) be used in the next season if I keep them?
A. No, they can only be used in the season you obtained them and will be deleted before the next season server is opened.
Q. Do you have to do the 40 daily quests from Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager Fughar every single day for 40 days? What happens if I miss a day?
A. No, you don’t have to do them every day for 40 days.
As mentioned before, if you complete the first quest of the 40 daily quests from Fughar, you can complete them with your season character even when the season ends.
Please note that you receive season enhancement materials, such as Time-filled Black Stones, from the quests, but won’t be able to use them since Tuvala gear cannot be enhanced after the season server ends. So please feel free to sell them at shops if you have any remaining after the season ends!
Q. Can season characters participate in party contents? Can you equip normal gear on season characters?
A. Yes, season characters can participate as party members in monster zones such as Mirumok and Gyfin.
However, season characters cannot equip normal gear.

Q. Are you planning to add Arsha servers that allow PvP among Season Characters for Season Servers as well?
A. Sure, within 2–5 weeks with the launch of Season Servers, we plan on adding an Arsha Season Server. Please stay tuned for more information coming up in our official announcements soon.a
Q. How do pets, fairies, maids, butlers, and mounts work in the Season Server?
A. Season Characters can access any pet, fairy, maid, butler, or mount you have. An exception is that Season Characters cannot ride dream horses.
Q. Can Season Characters shop at the Oasis shop?
A. Season characters can access Ellie the Oasis Vendor’s shop but cannot equip the gear purchased there.
Season Server Major Update: June 17, 2020
Source: Patch Notes 17th June 2020
We are excited to open up the season servers for the first time. We hope that our efforts will help many of you, especially our new adventurers, find your footing in the world of Black Desert Online.
We designed the season servers with three objectives in mind.
First and foremost, we wanted to keep things challenging enough to not make the progress feel empty. We especially focused on the gear available in the season servers, because getting good gear is an aspect we felt was one of the hardest challenges in our game. Therefore, we included season server exclusive “Tuvala” gear as well as special black stones. The Tuvala gear was designed to be par with the coveted “boss” gear while being easier to get and enhance. Easier, but not easy. We hope that you still can come to master this system that is so fundamental to our game.
The second thing we wanted to focus on giving you a feeling of excitement that this kind of seasonal content could bring. Seasons servers, as you might be able to tell from the name, will be seasonal. Every season, you must create a new character and start anew. This is why we made certain limitations on what season characters can and cannot do so that each season feels more like a fresh start, with your character unable to enjoy certain benefits from having a more advanced family in the regular servers like inheriting their gear or riding dream horses.
Lastly, we wanted to make the transition from the season to regular servers when the season ends as smooth as possible. Over the years, there has been so much content building up in our game. This has been both a blessing and a curse. We cannot hope to prepare you for everything, but by focusing on helping season characters get easier access to better gear, we hope that when these characters transition into the regular servers, they will at least have an easier time with the combat-related content of our game. We are also planning on more ways to help our first batch of season server “graduates” acclimate to the regular servers.
We want to keep servicing Black Desert Online, a game we love deeply, for a long, long time. As we do this, we want to preserve the gains made from hard work while bridging gaps. We don’t expect to have perfected this approach to the season servers on our first try, but we promise to keep an eye out so we can make further improvements for you.

Season Server Patch Notes: July 15, 2020
Source: July 15th Patch Notes
- Changed the Season5 server to a dedicated Arsha server for season characters.
- Similar to the other season servers there will be a Combat and Skill EXP buff. However, there will be an additional Item Drop Rate +50%, like in the regular Arsha server.
- PvP between characters (including forced PvP) will be free from all penalties in this server. However, characters with negative karma will still receive penalties.
- World and field bosses will not appear in this server.
- Added the item [Season] Ouk Pill of Rift to the season servers. You can loot this item by defeating monsters in Valencia, Kamasylvia, and Drieghan.
- You can exchange [Season] Ouk Pill of Rift for the following bundles containing Time-filled Black Stone, Tuvala Ore, or Refined Magical Black Stone.
- Time-filled Black Stone Bundle (contains 30–50 stones)
- Tuvala Ore Bundle (contains 10–30 ores)
- Refined Magical Black Stone Bundle (contains 10–30 stones)
- You can exchange [Season] Ouk Pill of Rift for the following bundles containing Time-filled Black Stone, Tuvala Ore, or Refined Magical Black Stone.
- Reduced the number of Time-filled Black Stones needed to enhance Tuvala gear (weapons and defense gear) from +15 to PEN.
Goal Enhancement Level | Before | Now |
PRI Tuvala gear | 16 | 10 |
DUO Tuvala gear | 17 | 10 |
TRI Tuvala gear | 18 | 10 |
TET Tuvala gear | 19 | 15 |
PEN Tuvala gear | 20 | 15 |
- Added regional quests to the following monster zones: Gahaz Bandits, Crescent Shrine, Cadry Ruins, and Desert Naga Temple.
- These quests will be automatically accepted if you enter the monster zone with a Lv. 56–57 character.
- As a season character, defeating 250 monsters in one of these monster zones will reward you a certain amount of EXP and Time-filled Black Stone x20.
- Non-season characters will only gain EXP from completing these quests.
Major Update: Serendia and Calpheon Main Quest Reward Revamp, Including New “Naru” Gear
- Added new “Naru” gear.
- You can get this new gear instead of certain gear that was given out as rewards for completing main quests in Serendia and Calpheon.
- Naru gear was designed for adventuring in Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah. As you complete the main quests in these regions, you will be able to get the new Beginner Black Stones needed for enhancing this new gear.
- You cannot receive Beginner Black Stones in retrospect for main quests already finished.
- Because Naru gear was made for adventurers who are just starting out on their adventures, we have made them easier to enhance, with an even higher chance for success compared to Tuvala gear. You also need less Cron Stones for safe enhancement. In fact, you’ll only need 3 for trying to enhance from TET to PEN! Therefore, be sure to give enhancing them a go!
- Season characters can go to Fughar the Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager after completing the Mediah main quests to trade in your PEN Naru gear for PRI Tuvala gear, which should serve you better as you journey onward to new horizons.
- You can only enhance Naru accessories (i.e. earring, necklace, belt, and ring) to TRI level.
- Added PRI “Tuvala” awakening weapons as rewards for completing Awakening/Talent/Ascension quests.
- Canon awakening weapons will still be given out as well, for completing the quests.
- Season characters cannot equip Canon awakening weapons.
- Although non-season characters cannot open the box containing the PRI Tuvala awakening weapon, they can still sell it to an NPC vendor.
- Canon awakening weapons will still be given out as well, for completing the quests.
- You can now use Heating in the Processing window (L) on certain items to get Beginner Black Stones.

[Step 2] Go to the [Crow Merchants Guild Scribe] Leyla
Go to the <Crow Merchants Guild Scribe> Leyla as instructed by the NPC Fughar, and accept the quest “[Season Server] At the Crossroad” from Leyla. Once you complete the quest, return to the NPC Fughar.
Interact with the NPC Fughar to obtain the “Honorable Adventurer’s Certificate” and accept the quest “[Season Server Graduation] Into the Big Wide World” from the Quest (Q) window.
Move to a regular server and use the “Honorable Adventurer’s Certificate” to convert your season character to a regular character!
Now, you’ve successfully completed converting your season character to a regular one. We’ll be rooting for our Adventurers who will continue their adventures in a larger and rougher Black Desert world!

After completing all 40 days of Fughar’s quests, you can accept the quest ‘[Season] Fughar’s Gift’ from Fughar and complete it to choose between either a PEN (V) Capotia Earring or Ring.
The [Season] Fughar’s Gift quest will be added during the maintenance on August 5, the same day early graduation begins. Please note you can’t get both the ring and earring, so please select the accessory you need the most.

[A] Tuvala gear that was converted with a [Season] Tuvala Conversion Stone will retain their “Item Branding”, “PEN (V) Creator Name”, and “Transfused Crystals”.
However, crystals transfused on an item that will be exchanged using the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon must be removed before the quest can be completed, so make sure to extract the crystals at a Blacksmith. Also, “Item Branding” and “PEN (V) Creator Name” will not be retained when the item is exchanged.
Make sure you know the difference between a “conversion stone” and “exchange coupon” before using them!
[Q] I have a PEN (V) Tuvala Helmet, but I accidently used the conversion stone on my TET (IV) Tuvala Helmet… Can it be restored?
[A] If you accidently convert the wrong Tuvala, please contact us via [Support] → [Send a Ticket]! We’ll take the mistakenly converted Tuvala gear and give the Tuvala gear you want. However, this assistance is only available once per Family, and the taken Tuvala gear will be unrecoverable as it will be deleted. Only Adventurers who submit a ticket before the maintenance September 2, 2020 will be eligible for assistance.
[Q] Can I use the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon to exchange for a weapon of a different class?
[A] If you use the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon on Tuvala gear that was converted with a Tuvala Conversion Stone, the weapon will be changed to a box form that you can open with the class you want the Boss weapon for.
[Q] Can I get rewards from the Black Spirit Pass Challenge after graduating early from the Summer Season?
[A] Once you convert your season character to a regular character, you will no longer be able to complete the Black Spirit Pass and get rewards. The Black Spirit Pass icon is also not displayed at the upper-right of screen in regular servers.
[Q] Can I change Tuvala weapons to a different class than my season character’s class?
[A] You can use Main Weapon/Awakening/Sub-Weapon Exchange Coupons on Tuvala weapons converted with a conversion stone.
However, if you convert a Tuvala weapon and exchange it for a Boss weapon with the Boss Gear Exchange Coupon, you can use a Main Weapon/Awakening/Sub-Weapon Exchange Coupon to exchange it for a weapon for a different class.
[Q] After exchanging Tuvala gear for Boss gear, can I enchance the exchanged Boss gear?
[A] Yes you can. Once you’ve exchanged the Tuvala gear for Boss gear, you can attempt to enhance just like normal Boss gear. However, you cannot put it for sale on the Central Market.
[Q] My season character is level 40… Can I still get the Gift Box Full of Memories?
[A] There are no separate requirement, such as levels or Fughar’s daily quest completion, for graduating early! Season characters can graduate and get the rewards at any time before the start of the next season.
[Q] When can get I season server rewards: Advice of Valks (+100) and the PEN (V) Capotia accessory?
[A] You can get them once the season server early graduation begins in the season servers after the maintenance on August 5, 2020 (Wed).
[Q] I don’t think I’ll be able to finish the 40-day quest before the end of the season… Does that mean I can’t get the PEN (V) accessory and Advice of Valks (+100)?
[A] As long as you have completed at least one day of Fughar’s 40-day quests beforehand, you’ll still be able to continue the 40-day quests even after the summer season ends. And of course, once you complete all 40 days, you’ll be able to get the PEN (V) Capotia accessory and Advice of Valks.

You need the Tuvala “conversion stones” (e.g. [Season] Tuvala Ring Conversion Stone), obtainable from [Season] Tuvala Conversion Stone Boxes, in order to convert a Tuvala gear to a normal gear.
-
You can use only one Tuvala conversion stone for each gear part, so you must be careful to ensure that the stone is used for a gear at its highest enhancement level.

-
How to Convert a Tuvala Gear to a Boss Gear
-
You first need to use the Tuvala conversion stone and convert a Tuvala gear to a normal gear before you can convert it to a boss gear.
-
After converting the Tuvala gear to normal gear, find <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar and accept either the quest “[Season] Even Sharper Weapon” or the quest “[Season] Even Sturdier Armor,” depending on the boss gear you wish to obtain.
-
However, you can only obtain a boss gear with a Tuvala gear of PRI (I), DUO (II), TRI (III), TET (IV), or PEN (V) enhancement level.
-
Set effects will be applied when equipping Tuvala gear converted to normal gear, Tuvala gear converted to boss gear, or boss gear.
-
-
Added the quest “[Season] Fughar’s Gift” through which you can obtain the following gifts prepared by <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar for those adventurers who have finished the 40-day-long journey with him: Advice of Valks (+100) and Season Special Gift Exchange Coupon.
-
You can exchange the Season Special Gift Exchange Coupon for PEN (V) Capotia Ring or Earring by using the Season Special Gift feature available from Fughar.
-
-
Until August 26 (before maintenance) you will be able to continue enjoying the adventurers in the season servers if you do not receive any Season Server Graduation quests.
-
You can still do <Crow Merchants Guild Chief Manager> Fughar’s quests for a certain period of time even after the summer season has ended with the August 26 (Wednesday) maintenance.
-
Summer Season concludes on August 26 and any unconverted Season Characters will be converted into regular characters automatically in this maintenance.
