Oquilla’s Eye has a treasure chest event that occurs every 3 hours. For the cost of a Silver Key, you can obtain rare ship materials.

Oquilla’s Treasure Chests

  • 4 different grades of treasure chests arrive on the beach every 3 hours
  • each chest is opened with 1 Silver Key (obtained via fishing)
  • chests come up from a waterspout in the center of Oquilla’s Eye
  • the waterspout can kill you, if you are in the water (no death penalty occurs)
  • there are three large explosions from the waterspout

You will see the message “Something strange is going on at Oquilla’s Eye.” Wait a little while for the chests to arrive.

There are 4 different grades of treasure chests that will appear.

  • T1: Wooden Chest
  • T2: Chest Decorated with Bronze
  • T2: Chest Decorated with Silver
  • T2: Chest Decorated with Gold

 Some of the chests give Coin trade items. These are the least valuable, but they are usually given in multiples of 2 to 3.

Oquilla’s Eye Chest Locations

Look for Curio <Head of the Otter Merchants Union>

Located on the southern part of the island.

The chests spawn all along the beach near where Curio is.
