After you start hunting in higher level areas for longer periods of time, you may find that you run out of HP potions or that your gear’s durability decreased faster than you expected. Instead of taking the time to travel back to town, you can use a wonderful item/skill called a Camping Tool that lets you buy potions, repair gear, and store loot.

Once you’ve acquired a camping tool, you will learn the ability to summon a tent campsite.

Tent Benefits:

  • NPC Shop: purchase HP/MP Potions, Buffs for Item Drop Rate and Combat.
  • Mobile Repairs: repair equipment, Life tools, and horse gear.
  • Storage Space: Small storage on the go.
  • Villa Buffs: requires Pearl Shop tent.

Campsites are shared with family.

Tent Campsite Questline

You can obtain a free Tent by completing a short questline or you can purchase one from the Pearl Shop.

The questline to acquire the camping tool and the ability to summon your campsite is found under the Suggested Tab in your quest log. It is called [ADV Support] Start of Camping.

Quest Requirement: Level 50+

To begin, talk to Black Spirit. Under the Suggested Tab, he will offer you the quest ‘Survival Guru‘. He will instruct you to talk to Likke Behr in Behr.

The town of Behr is located south of Calpheon City, east of Trent.

You Will Need:

 – Cedar Timber x3

Likke Behr will give you a quest called ‘How to Surve the Wilderness‘. He asks you to give him 3 Cedar Timber, 5 Cedar Sap, and 3 Rough Stone. If you already have these items, you can bring them to Behr with you and just hand them in. Otherwise, bring a Lumbering Axe, Fluid Collector, and Mining Pick with you. You can find rocks to mine and Cedar trees right inside town.

After you give Likke the 3 different materials, he will give you the quest ‘Old Moon Guild and Survival Skill‘.

Talk to Jensen <General Goods Vendor> in Behr. He will give you an Old Moon Camping Tent, Anvil, and Shop.

Using the Campsite Ability

If you use a campsite without obtaining a tent first, you’ll only get a bonfire.

To use your tent, right click the Camping Tool in your inventory to learn the ability to install/summon a tent.

    A Camping Tool icon is displayed under your Level/Health bar, next to the Tag Characters icon.

    • LMB: Left click the tent icon to summon your tent and install it where you are standing.
    • RMB: Draw an auto navigation path to your installed tent.
    • ALT + LMB: Set up a hotkey to summon your tent where you are standing.

      Install Campsite

      Clicking the Install Campsite button will place your campsite on the ground and bring up the Campsite UI window.

      Campsite Rules:

      • Campsites can only be summoned in Combat Zones that are free of big obstacles, roads, and steep slopes.
      • Campsites cannot be installed in safe zones or areas that are too small for the tent to fit in.
      • Tents can’t be installed during a Node/Conquest War. All campsites set up before the start of a Node/Conquest War will automatically be removed.

      After clicking Install Campsite, right click any Camping Gear (tent, anvil, shop, container) in your inventory to equip it to your campsite and begin using it.

      Be aware that once you equip Old Moon Camping gear, its lifespan will start to deteriorate.
