Processing Mastery Info

Processing Mastery benefits even beginner processors as long as they have a Processing Stone equipped. (Requires Beginner 2 Processing.)

Processing Mastery uses up the same materials, but just makes Processing faster.

Processing Mastery does not change the average output yield. For example, 2.5 per Process recipe with Artisan 2.

Processing success rate that sometimes delays a process and tells you “Processing is not going as planned.” isn’t impacted by Processing Mastery.

Processing Mastery brackets occur in 20 level increments most of time. Note there is some variance, and even large gaps towards the later Processing Mastery levels.

Processing Mastery Gear

There are many items you can obtain that will buff your Processing Mastery or Life Mastery level. Manos gear is the best, but also extremely expensive to enhance.

• Loggia Gear  (sold by Camellia Loggia <Seed Vendor> for 1 million Silver at Loggia Farm)
• Geranoa Gear (sold by the <Material Vendor> Geranoa in Calpheon City for 10 million Silver)
• Manos Gear (Processing > Manufacture of rare ingredients.)

Life Mastery Gear Enhancement

Life Mastery clothes and accessories can be improved by enhancement, using Black Gems crafted from Black Gem Fragments.

• Life Mastery gear can be upgraded to PEN (V)
• Enhancement levels increase the Life Mastery given
• Life Mastery gear enhancement with Black Gems does not use the traditional Failstack system. Enhancement Chance is always a set amount no matter how much you fail.
• Enhancement with Black Gems “have a higher success rate than the previous enhancement methods.” (70% PRI, 40% DUO, 30% TRI for greed grade.) Although it seems from player reports that RNG is a-foot!

• Processing Mastery system was added.
  • You can mass process more items with higher Processing Mastery. Its effects are as below.

• To Mass Process, you must have a Processing Stone equipped and press the Mass Process button
• The Mass Process button will not be displayed when a Processing Stone is not equipped.
  • For example, an adventurer with Processing Mastery 2 will be able to do 10 Chopping with one Mass Process, while an adventurer with Processing Mastery 400 will be able to do 30 Chopping with one Mass Process, resulting in more items within the same time. Items consumed for 1 Mass Process equals (Items consumed for 1 General Processing) x (No. of Processing done for Mass Processing according to Processing Mastery).

•  Added items which can enhance Life Skill Mastery items.
  • – You can enhance Life Skill Mastery items up to PEN (V), and the higher the enhancement level, the more the Mastery will increase.
  • – Life Skill Mastery clothes can be enhanced up to +5 without failure.
  • – Green grade Mastery gear can be purchased from the NPC shop. Also, you can easily enhance them by using the Black Gem and Concentrated Magical Black Gem.
  • – When enhancing with the Black Gem, the enhancement will not be affected by the enhancement chance increase and Valks’ chance increase you already had before.
  • – When you fail an enhancement attempt while using the Black Gem, the enhancement chance increase value will not increase.
  • – When you succeed an enhancement attempt while using the Black Gem, the enhancement chance increase value will not reset.
  • – Enhancement attempts using the Black Gem have a higher success rate than the previous enhancement methods.
  • – Please note for Loggia items that are enhanced with Black Stones, the enhancement chance will continue to be consumed and generated as usual.
  • – You have a low chance to obtain Black Gems by butchering monsters you Hunt.
• You can obtain the Black Gem Fragment through the following Gathering activities.
  • Mining, Barehanded Gathering (excluding Golem gathering), Hoe Gathering, Fluid/Blood Collecting, Tanning, Butchering, Lumbering.
