Dokkebi Chests are hidden chests that complete volumes 5 through 7 of “The Eyes of Adventure” within the Adventure Log Bookshelf.

You can find them scattered throughout Land of the Morning Light, which became available on June 14th 2023.

This guide details the locations of all 20 Dokkebi Chests for volume 5 and chapter (page) 4 of The Eyes of Adventure – Dokkebi’s Hobbies.

 

The Eyes of Adventure Requirements:

  • Level 11+
  • Land of the Morning Light access.
    • Abyssal Veins portal via the Magnus questline (level 56+)
    • Sail with a ship across the great ocean. (not recommended)
    • Create a new level 1 character to start in LoML.

 

Adventure Log Basics:

  • View LoML Adventure Log Menu: press Esc → Adventure → Adventure Log Bookshelf → The Eyes of Adventure → Volume 5
  • Completing Volume 5 and finding all Dokkebi Chests will open up Volume 6.
  • When The Eyes of Adventure → Volume 5, Chapter 4 is completed, it will receive a sparkly highlight. Click it to receive your reward of +30 Stamina.
  • A completion stamp will cover the reward, if you have already received it.
  • Dokkebi Chests can be completed in any order within a chapter.

Goal: Complete Kkebichest IV

Reward: Max Stamina +30 (Family-wide)

Details: from the main road run SW uphill until you are south of the lake. Look for a tall and narrow cave opening.

Details: the chest is located NW of the lake. Run SW from the main road uphill along a small path to a large cave.

Dokkebi Chest 4-9

Nearby Node: west of Beombawi Valley

Details: the chest is located NW of the lake. Run west from the main road between two wooden barricades into a large cave system. Stick to the left wall once you reach a crossroads inside the cave and follow the small stream that runs there. The chest is in a small shallow pool of water.

Nearby Node: SE of Beombawi Valley

Details: the chest is located underground below the boar sniper hunting area. When you see a large octogonal stone pattern on the floor, travel northward to the lighted shrine set inside the wall.

Nearby Node: south of Gowun Plateau

Details: from the node manager run south to a long rocky ridge overlooking a ledge down below with the chest on it. Carefully slide your way down to the chest.

Dokkebi Chest 4-13

Nearby Node: east of Drybranch Village

Details: travel to the far eastern coast. There are two islands off the coast. Swim to the smaller northern island. The chest is located inside a cave on the northern coast of the island.

Details: run east along the beach from the wharf and there is a large cave where the node manager is.

Dokkebi Chest 4-15 and 4-12

Nearby Node: NE of Hani County

Details: Start from the west side of the river and travel over the very top of the giant waterfall. When you reach the other side of the river, keep hugging the rocky cliffs. In several areas you will have to jump over gaps. Look for a grassy ledge with several tall trees below.

Chest 4-12

Don’t jump down until you get the second chest in the area. It’s north from the first chest. Swim to the boulder on top of the river/waterfall.

Nearby Node: SE of Yeowoo Pass

Details: travel south down the road east of the village. There will be a large cave with a tall ninetailed fox statue inside with the same name as the Node Manger, “Fox Goddess Statue”. The chest is right next to it.

Nearby Node: Cheongsan Institute

Details: find the highest part of the waterfall behind the node manager. Swim to the middle boulder seperating twin waterfalls. Carefully fall down to the chest on a small shelf down below.
