Dokkebi Chests are hidden chests that complete volumes 5 through 7 of “The Eyes of Adventure” within the Adventure Log Bookshelf.
You can find them scattered throughout Land of the Morning Light, which became available on June 14th 2023.
This guide details the locations of all 20 Dokkebi Chests for volume 5 and chapter (page) 5 of The Eyes of Adventure – Dokkebi’s Hobbies.
The Eyes of Adventure Requirements:
- Level 11+
- Land of the Morning Light access.
- Abyssal Veins portal via the Magnus questline (level 56+)
- Sail with a ship across the great ocean. (not recommended)
- Create a new level 1 character to start in LoML.
Adventure Log Basics:
- View LoML Adventure Log Menu: press Esc → Adventure → Adventure Log Bookshelf → The Eyes of Adventure → Volume 5
- Completing Volume 5 and finding all Dokkebi Chests will open up Volume 6.
- When The Eyes of Adventure → Volume 5, Chapter 5 is completed, it will receive a sparkly highlight. Click it to receive your reward of +30 Stamina.
- A completion stamp will cover the reward, if you have already received it.
- Dokkebi Chests can be completed in any order within a chapter.

Find a total of 20 Dokkebi Chests hidden throughout Land of Morning Light.
Goal: Complete Kkebichest V
Rewards:

NOTE: the Stamina reward becomes available only after all 20 chests for volume 5, chapter 5 are found.

Nearby Node: Beombowi Valley
Details: beside the tent covering NPC Taeso.
Dokkebi Chest 5-2
Nearby Node: south of Beombowi Gate
Details: travel south from the main road into a valley of trees between two mountains. Keep going uphill until you see a spot on your right that you can climb up onto the western mountain ridge. Once you are on top of the mountain ridge, travel back northward toward the way you came. At the end of the mountain ridge, there is a rocky shelf that you must drop down to for the chest.

Details: on the rocky ledge near the waterfall.

Details: from the top of the waterfall, jump down into the NE corner. The ledge is too high to get to from the river below.

Details: in front of a well to the entrance of an island off the east coast

Nearby Node: SE of Drybranch Village
Details: There are two islands off the SE Coast. Swim to the larger southern island. Look for a tall white shrine at the top of a hill. The chest is beside it.

Details: the box is beside the Wharf Manager, Yooan.

Nearby Node: NE of Hanji County
Details: underneath a gazebo on a small island in the river.
Dokkebi Chest 5-9
Nearby Node: far north of Dalbeol Village
Details: East of the boar sniper area (and Sangoon boss icon if you’ve completed the Sangoon questline). Follow the road that leads up to the western side of the mountain. The road takes you directly to a sacrificial pig altar. Don’t go down the east road that leads inside a cave. Climb up behind the pig altar to the top of the mountain. Then travel NE and look down below the cliff. The chest is on a lower shelf of the mountain.
The chest is up on the mountain behind this pig altar.
Chest is hidden down below this pointed jaggy rock.
Dokkebi Chest 5-10
Nearby Node: SE of Gowun Plateau
Details: travel south uphill down the main road east of Gowun Plateau to the gazebo at the edge of a cliff. There is a large boulder on the right side. Looking SW from on top of this boulder is the location of the chest way down below. Its not easy to spot it right away. Carefully fall down in a SW direction to reach the chest.

Details: go behind the chicken coops.
Dokkebi Chest 5-12
Nearby Node: Golden Pig Cave
Details: underground in a large cave system. Enter from the main road then keep to the right. Keep looking right until you see a pool of water down below. The chest is hidden in the water on the side of a large boulder in the pool.

Details: above ground behind a watch tower and small red hut.

Details: run SW from the Pig Cave node manager, across the main road and toward the ridge leading down to the beach. On your right, look for a large cave opening. Run inside the cave and keep your eye on the right wall. The chest is on a shelf in the right side of the wall.

Number 5-20 is right by 5-15, so I moved it up in the guide to save you some travel time.

Love the guide, it’s been a huge help. I just wanted to comment on 5-9 (Pig Altar). The description is quite misleading. It says to go behind the altar (which I assumed was the entire pig shaped rock) and its on a lower rock (which I assumed was under the lower opening to the cave). I think it’s a lot easier to understand if you just say it’s all the way on top of the rock head. The photo is also quite difficult to understand which rock it’s on given the lack of context.
