Mesima & Chanterelle Mushrooms
Mesima and Chanterelle are mushrooms that can be gathered with a hoe, farmed, bought on the marketplace, or gained through 1 production node at Pilgrim’s End node far southwest of Eilton City.
Right now there are lots of preorders up for these rare mushrooms. So lets see how we can get you some!
Pilgrim’s End Node
Mesima and Chanterelle can be obtained via the “Pilgrim’s End” node. The node costs 2 Contribution Points, and the Mesima/Chanterelle subnode costs 2 CP.
Note: Mushrooms can also be gathered east of the node. Please see the mushroom location maps below.
Locaton: far SW section of Everfrost. It is closer to O’draxxia than Eilton, so it may be better to use workers from there.
Gathering Mesima and Chanterelle Mushrooms and Seeds
Bring a hoe and your trusty hedgehog, and gather mushrooms in Everfrost. There is a rare chance that a seed (hypha) will drop.
You can obtain up to 3 mushroom seeds from one gather this way. It’s a rare drop and will take quite a few tries, but be like Lando and don’t give up!

Chanterelle are a bright orange color. So purdy!! And full of Vitamin C!
Mushroom Maps
The map below shows some of the more prominent locations for the 4 new mushrooms found in the wet, swampy area north and west of Wind Nol’s Perch node in Mountain of Eternal Winter. Check out the mysterious Amanita mushroom fairy ring, but be careful! I’ve heard it’s a portal to the terrifying lands of the cruel fae. Don’t let them steal you away!
You can also find the 4 new mushrooms east of the Pilgrim’s End node. It has a nice concentration of the Chanterelle mushrooms in one area, growing around the base of 10-12 trees. The Mesima mushrooms are harder to gather here as they grow on the trunks of the trees, and a couple are too high to even reach. In my opinion, the area near Wind Nol’s Perch is better for gathering every mushroom except the Chanterelle. I plan on placing a gathering alt at Pilgrim’s End just for the Chanterelle.
Farming Mushrooms
While gathering mushrooms in Everfrost, there is a rare chance that a seed (hypha) will drop. Plant these hyphae in a fence and farm them to breed more hyphae or harvest the fully grown crops for mushrooms. I am receiving 20-40 mushrooms when harvesting high-quality and special mushroom crops. See this guide on farming for basics and tips.

Citron Fruit
Citrons are a fruit that can be gathered with a hoe, farmed, bought on the marketplace, or gained through 1 production node at Maslan’s Yulas Citron Orchard node east of Eilton City.

Maslan’s Yulas Citron Orchard Node
Citrons can be obtained via the “Maslan’s Yulas Citron Orchard” node.
Locaton: East of Eilton City in the Eternal Winter/Everfrost zone. The Citron Orchard node costs 2 Contribution Points, and the Citron production subnode costs 2 CP for a total of 4 CP.

Translucent Ice
Translucent Ice is a magical new cooking ingredient that’s needed to make Sherbet. It can be gathered with a mining pick, bought on the marketplace, or gained through 1 production node at Mountain of Eternal Winter node far south of Eilton City.

Mountain of Eternal Winter Node
Translucent Ice and Ice shards can be obtained via the “Mountain of Eternal Winter” node.
Locaton: South of Eilton City in the Eternal Winter/Everfrost zone. The node cost 2 Contribution Points and the ice subnode costs a whopping 5 Contribution Points!
Gathering Translucent Ice
Bring a mining pick and your trusty hedgehog to the Mountain of Eternal Winter node. On the steep chilly mountain pass leading up to the the node manager and Erethea’s Limbo, there are nodes of Ice to mine along the way. Expect Hypothermia and Frostbite debuffs while you’re there. Bring Star Anise Tea to cure the Hypothermia and Citron Tea to cure Frostbite. Well-brewed Mesima Tea is a huge help here also, making you immune to Frostbite for 10 minutes.
Translucent Ice Shards can be exchanged to Ornoa, the Tavern Owner, in Eilton City. He will give you 1 Translucent Ice in exchange for 5 Ice Shards.
