According to the May 25, 2022 patch notes, “The following zones gained the trait of having a comparably higher chance to drop Specter’s Energy.”

Valencia Grinding Spots

Titium Valley ~ Fogans

Titium Valley, Bashims, Gahaz, and Nagas are easier Specter’s Energy grind spots for those with mid-low AP. Most classes, levels 55-59, will do well at these places if they have 200+ AP. These zones also have a high level of Serap’s Necklace and Scroll Written in Ancient Language drops, but not much else to recommend them. Out of the 4 locations, Titium Valley, located east of Crescent Shrine, is farthest from any city/village, but has a higher player-reported Specter’s Energy drop. Crescent Shrine

Crescent Shrine has a lower AP requirement than Roud Sulfur Works, but you’ll still need higher AP/DP than the recommended of 175/220 to kill mobs efficiently. Because of its low silver/hour, low Combat XP, and undesirable location, this grinding spot will be nearly empty and uncontested. Yellow grade accessories drop here, including Ring of Crescent Guardian. Decent place to farm Skill XP, especially when killing elites. Crescent Shrine is located Southeast of Sand Grain Bazaar. Roud Sulfur Works

Roud Sulfur comes highly recommended by the playerbase for the Specter’s Energy drop. However, if you want to kill quickly at Roud Sulfur, you’ll need higher AP/DP than the recommended 220/230. Because of its low silver/hour, low Combat XP, and undesirable location, this grinding spot will likely be empty and uncontested. Archaeologist’s Map piece drops here as well as Manos Craftsman’s Clothes. Good place to farm Skill XP. Roud Sulfur is located Northeast of Valencia City. Click images below for map and loot table.

Kamasylvia Grinding Spots

Polly’s Forest

Because Polly’s Forest is the #1 grinding spot for Combat Exp and Skill XP, for new players it is usually busy and contested. It’s also reported to be one of the best spots for Specter’s Energy. However, more players grinding equals more reports of rare drops. Manos Craftsman’s Clothes can also drop here. Recomended AP/DP for this area is 190/250. Polly’s Forest is located Northwest of Grana. Click images below for map and loot table.

Manshaum Forest

Manshaum Forest Rankings:

Besides Specter’s Energy, Manshaum Forest also drops the rare infinite MP/WP/SP potion piece, Narc’s Crimson Tear. This area has become more popular in recent months because of that, so expect to run into other players, especially during peak playing times. Although pvp doesn’t happen as often here as it does in Polly’s Forest, don’t be surprised if someone flags up. Find the Manshaum playground North of Old Wisdom Tree. Players reccommend 240/280+ for quick clearing of mobs.

Drieghan Grinding Spots

Tshira Ruins

The AP/DP for Tshira Ruins is very low, similar to areas in Valencia like Desert Nagas and Bashim Base. Because mobs are easy to kill, classes that have speed skills with quick cooldowns will be able to kill many mobs in a short amount of time. Tshira Ruins is rarely congested with other players as Combat/Skill XP is low, and silver/hour is very low.  Along with Specter’s Energy, Tsira Ruins also drops the rare infinite MP/WP/SP potion piece, Markthanan’s Gland and the Eye of the Ruins Ring. 

Sherekhan Necropolis

Although the reported droprate for Specter’s Energy in the Necropolis is lower than other listed zones, it is likely due to the lack of players wanting to hunt in this zone. Players farming here are usually hoping for the rare HP potion piece, Sherekhan’s Panacea. You’ll need higher AP/DP than the BDO recommended to kill efficiently here. Mobs are even harder to kill during the game’s night time hours.

O’dyllita & Sea Grinding Spots

Thornwood Forest

Thornwood is the only area in O’dyllita that currently drops Specter’s Energy. It also drops Ah’krad, a piece for the awakening weapon crystals, Quturun’s Left Lung which is used to obtain the La Orzeca Helmet outfit piece, and the Ominous Ring.  This area has become popular due to it’s high Combat XP and decent silver/hour. Players recommend 250/320+ for decent killing efficiency, but keep in mind this new zone was created for highly geared and highly skilled players.

Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Upper)

Sycraia Underwater Ruins is located north of Iliya Island. See map below. The entrance is located underwater and requires 45+ seconds of underwater breathing gear/buffs to reach. For more details on location and gear please see this guide: Sycraia Underwater Ruins.

Sycraia has a high reported drop rate for Specter’s Energy and the same rare drops as Protty Cave. With its great Combat XP, decent Skill Xp, and good silver/hour earnings, the only thing that keeps most players away is its terrible location.
