BDO Craftable Costumes in Calpheon (Free Outfits)

BDO Craftable Costumes in Calpheon are free outfits that can be created in 2 different Costume Mills.

This guide only covers the level 2 Costume Mill outfits available in Calpheon.

Craftable costumes are considered free because they do not require Pearls to purchase, but do require in game time and resources to obtain.

Craftable Costume Requirements:

Costume Mill: level 2 in Calpheon (9 CP)
different materials (ore, cloth, etc)
1 Costume Design costing 1 or more of:
- Energy ( Amity )
- Silver 50k
- Quest to give 5 Flashbangs

Craftable Costume Limitations

Craftable Costumes can be worn right away, but they equip into your armor slots and can NOT be worn with armor that gives you DP.

You can turn a craftable costume into an outfit that you can wear in your appearance slots by purchasing an Equipment Tailoring Coupon from the Pearl Shop. Normal price is 1500 Pearls. This will also add a buff to the costume. (Amity +15%, Movement Speed +2, or Attack/Casting Speed +1)

Note that the buffs are not equal to your normal Pearl costume buffs with EXP boosts, etc.

Craftable Costumes can be purchased or pre-ordered at the Marketplace.

Craftable Costume Mills in Calpheon

The Craftable costumes in this guide, can be crafted by a worker after purchasing one of two housing sections in Calpheon.

Select the normal Costume Mill, then upgrade it to level 2. (not Old Moon Costume Mill)

Merchant Lane 2-5, 1F

9 CP

Possible Armor Workshop level 6
(costs extra 8 CP)

Possible Furniture Workshop level 4
(costs extra 4 CP)

Includes 16 Storage

Noble Quarter 1-6

9 CP

Possible Furniture Workshop level 4
(costs extra 5 CP)

Includes 19 Storage

Both options cost 9 Contribution Points, but the housing group for Merchant Lane 2-5 offers better opportunites for crafting higher tier armors and furniture.

Noble Quarter, however offers 3 more Storage slots. The left side of the Noble Quarter would offer even more cheap Storage, but would cost additional CP. (Noble Quarter is most recommended for cheap Storage in Calpheon.)

Supplying the Delphe Knights

Objective: Give 5x – Flashbang to Jeron.

Recipe for x1 Flashbang:

– Fruit of Nature

Flashbangs are made in a Siege Weapon Workshop: Level 3
Herbal Gunpowder Recipe: Insectivore Plant Powder x1 + Powder of Darkness x1
Insectivore Plant Powder
- Gather Insectivore Plants with a hoe to obtain Insectivore Plant Powder.
  - Insectivore Plants are found in Hexe Sanctuary and southern Serendia.
- Poisonous Swamp Plants in Naga Swamp and Glish Swamp drop Insectivore Plant Powder.
  - Processing > Grinding > Insectivore Plant
  - If your level is much higher than a Poisonous Swamp Plant, you cannot obtain the flower item.
Fruit of Nature is obtained via the Farming Life Skill. Breed potato, wheat, barley, and Fire Flake Flower.
