Equipment Tailoring Coupon

Most costumes crafted in the game can’t be worn like a Pearl Costume in the Appearance slots.

This means they take up Armor, Gloves, Shoes, and Helmet slots. They don’t allow you to wear your normal grinding gear that protects you during battle.

You can convert certain crafted costumes and certain Life Skill clothes into Pearl Costumes. This allows you to keep the Appearance and buffs of your functional costume and still wear your armor.

Costume Heating for Pearl Outfit Crystal

You can heat certain crafted costumes to create special Pearl Outfit crystals.

The craftable costumes need to be transformed into a Pearl Costume via an Equipment Tailoring Coupon Equipment Tailoring Coupon.

    Pearl Outfit Crystals:

In order to use Pearl Outfit Crystals, a character must have a socketed Pearl Outfit chest piece equipped, created by using a Black Spirit’s Claw on the chest part.

    Obtaining a Socketed Outfit

Pearl Outfits do not come with sockets in them.

You can install 1 socket into the Top Armor piece of a Pearl Outfit.

You will need 1 Black Spirit’s Claw.

Press RMB on Black Spirit’s Claw to install a socket in a Pearl Outfit chest.

    Craft a Black Spirit’s Claw

    1. Obtain 3 Black Spirit’s Claw Piece.
    2. Make sure Auto-Arrange it turned off.
    3. Line up 3  Black Spirit’s Claw Piece.
    4. LMB the plus sign to combine into 1  Black Spirit’s Claw.

Which Pearl Outfits Can I Socket?

    • Only chest pieces in the “Pearl Outfits” category can have sockets installed in them by using a Black Spirit’s Claw. (For example, Premium or Classic Outfit armor tops.)
    • PLEASE NOTE: Pearl Outfits that have the chest fused to another piece don’t seem to allow the use of Black Spirit’s Claw. I was unable to test all Pearl Outfits due to lack of RL funds atm. 😛
    • Functional Life Skill Costumes and all craftable costumes can’t have sockets put in them. Pearl Functional Costumes can’t have a socket either. (Example: Camouflage, Fishing, Diving, Cooking Costumes, etc.)

    Outfit Slot Crystals

There are 3 different Outfit Crystals that can be placed in an Outfit Slot, which requires wearing a Socketed Outfit that has been altered by a Black Spirit’s Claw.

    Outfit Slot Limitations:

    • Only 1 of 3 specific crystals can be equipped to Outfit Slot.
    • No other crystals can be placed into the Outfit Slot.
    • Your socketed Pearl Outfit must be equipped to use the crystal saved in the Outfit Slot.
    • Pearl Outfits are class specific, so plan carefully.
    • Specifically need a chest piece if the outfit has separate pieces.
