Item Collection Increase Gauge Unavailable Zones
The following zones do not provide the usage of the Item Collection Increase Gauge, but the total amount of loot dropped is increased.
Due to the above, the drop rate for the “Rich Merchant’s Ring Piece” from Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Upper) has been increased to similar levels as the combined effects of “Item Collection Increase Scrolls, [Camp] Adventurer’s Luck V, Ecology Knowledge buffs, Blessing of Kamasylve, Luck +5, and the Old Moon Treaty Token.”
- You can expect slightly higher profits from these zones compared to those of zones with similar recommended AP levels without using the Item Collection Increase Gauge.
- Item Collection Increase, Junk Item Drop Amount Increase, and Agris Fever buffs are all unavailable for these zones.

When is Item Drop Buff Calculated?
Item Drop Theory: Loot is generated upon killing the mob and NOT when the loot is picked up. (Player tests seem to back up this theory.)
Loot Buff Assumptions:
- Item Drop Buffs only benefit you when you kill the mob and then loot it.
- Item Collection Buff does not occur upon picking up the loot.
Conclusions:
- It’s possible to miss very rare drops, due to not pausing and waiting for pets to pick up all loot.
- It’s possible for someone to steal your loot and get the benefit of any loot buff you had on when you killed the mob.

Patch Notes:
● Adjusted the Item Collection Increase Gauge to now warn you if there’s less than 1 minute left in charged time.
Patch Notes – November 3, 2021
Made the following changes to the Item Collection Increase Gauge UI:
– Changed to deactivate the gauge when your character approaches a town/city.
* You will be able to activate the gauge in towns/cities, but the charged time will not be consumed.
* The gauge setting you set in the town/city will start to consume the time on the gauge once you enter a combat zone.
– Changed the cooldown of activating Lv. and changing Lv. to be stored separately per character. (However, the charged time is still applied family-wide, which is the same as before.)
– Changed the Item Collection Increase Gauge UI to stay at the location it was moved to even after exiting the game or after the loading screen that appears when changing servers.
Through today’s update, we improved upon some of the inconveniences with the Item Collection Increase Gauge UI. First off, we have the location of the UI to stay in the location you moved it to. Sometimes, when you try logging in to a different character after defeating monsters, you might forget to turn off the gauge and wasted some of the precious time on it. To prevent this from happening in the future, we have decided to save the activation setting per character. We also added the function to deactivate the gauge automatically when you approach a town/city. ●
——————–
Added a function that allows you to turn the buff on/off by charging time with the Item Collection Increase Scroll.
– You can use this function by going to ESC (New) Menu -> Adventure (F5) -> Item Collection Increase Scroll (8) OR by pressing RMB on the Item Collection Increase Scroll.
* This function will later be updated so that it can be used via the Gamepad UI as well.
– You can adjust the placement of the Item Collection Increase Scroll UI by holding LMB and dragging the mouse.
– You can press RMB to close when the Item Collection Increase Scroll UI is deactivated.
– You can make the buttons for stage 0 (deactivated), stage 1, and stage 2 appear by pressing the Item Collection Increase Scroll UI. Also, the UI for the different stages will disappear when you press them again.
* You can set a hotkey for activating each stage. You can set this by pressing LMB on the button for each stage while holding ALT.
– You can charge time with an Item Collection Increase Scroll by pressing the Charge (+) button.
* The amount of time you can charge with each Item Collection Increase Scroll is as follows. You can also use an item with the “[Event]” tag.
* You can charge up to 10 hours (36,000 sec), and the buff will be applied to the entire Family.
Item | Time Charged |
Item Collection Increase Scroll (30 min) | 1,800 sec |
Item Collection Increase Scroll | 3,600 sec |
Item Collection Increase Scroll: Advanced (60 min) | 7,200 sec |
– The following buffs will be applied for each stage of activation. You cannot switch stages for 5 minutes when activating/deactivating for each stage.
* The buff applied for each stage of activation and the time consumed are as follows:
Stage | Buff |
Deactivated | Charged time not consumed No buff |
Stage 1 Activated | Charged time consumed Item Drop Rate +100% Item Drop Amount +50% |
Stage 2 Activated | Consumes double the charged time Item Drop Rate +100% Item Drop Amount +100% |
