The <Dew-drunk> Moonlit Weasel is a rare wild animal you can hunt with a matchlock. It can be found in Kamasylvia, in the mountains nestled between Polly’s Forest Node and <Trade Manager> Maina who is located just north of Grana. It spawns in relatively safe areas, amidst low level sheep and unaggressive weasels.

Rare hunting mobs are difficult to find, but drop an unusual amount of loot from butchering them. Respawn is randomly between 12 and 24 hours. The map below shows potential spawn locations.

<Dew-drunk> Moonlit Weasel Hunting Mechanics

The <Dew-drunk> Moonlit Weasel is fairly easy to kill. It does not hit hard or often and won’t attack unless you attack it first. Once hit, the Moonlit Weasel will run circles around you and stop after every rotation to strike 3 times with its tail. Reload your matchlock while it’s running, then shoot when it stops to attack. It’s a quick lil bugger–but not as fast as the Scurrying Squirrel!
