Dahn’s Gloves are red grade gloves that are best in slot, with superior defense stats, achieving the highest Damage Reduction or optionally, Evasion.
Choose DR or Evasion:
- Dahn’s Gloves comes in two versions: superior damage reduction or superior evasion.
- You can swap one version for another via a quest and some mats.
- Swap Cost: Scorching Sun Shard x200 or Crystalized Despair x50.
The DR version is similar to PEN: Blackstar Gloves, but can be enhanced 5 times to surpass it.
Dahn’s Gloves Quest Requirements:
- 1 rare loot drop from bosses in Land of Morning Light.
- Finish a quest line in Land of the Morning Light.
- Level 56+ characters.

Land of the Morning Light Location
Land of the Morning Light is located in the far NW section of the world map.
It is across the great ocean and can be accessed via boat or through opening a portal in the Magnus quest line.
- Port Ratt was destroyed to make room for Nampo harbor, the gateway to the Land of the Morning Light. The NPCs of what was formerly Port Ratt were sent out as the Ratt Delegation to Oquilla.

Dahn’s Gloves starts out with similar stats as PEN: Blackstar Gloves, but can be upgraded 5 more times.

Flawless Chaotic Black Stone x 1 - Enhancement Failure costs 30 Max Durability and lowers the enhancement level by one.
- Cron Stones can be used to protect from downgrading (cost starting at 1500 Crons)

Dahn’s Gloves, a new piece of top-tier equipment, has been added. Dahn’s Gloves were inspired by the gloves worn by the Taejo of Joseon, Yi Seong-gye, one of the greatest archers in the history of Korea, and come with a unique appearance and outstanding stats.”Flame of Hongik” is used as a main ingredient in crafting this glove. You can obtain “Flame of Hongik” by Heating “Embers of Hongik” x500, or at a low probability by defeating bosses. “Embers of Hongik” can also be obtained by defeating bosses, but you can also exchange “Crystallized Despair” x1 for “Embers of Hongik” x2 in Elvia. As such, Adventurers who do not mind taking their time can prepare for these gloves by defeating bosses, while those who would like to craft them as soon as possible can use “Crystallized Despair” to attain the crafting materials immediately. The reason behind changing the crafting method is because the Land of the Morning Light content is focused on boss battles, rather than monster zones. So we wanted Adventurers to have more freedom in deciding how they would like to go about crafting this new gear.

The gloves come in two versions: damage reduction and evasion.
You’ll initially craft one version of the gloves, then have the option to exchange them for the other.
We put a lot of thought into their crafting method. As there are no new monster zones, we explored different ways of crafting to make it engaging and avoid repetitiveness.
Therefore, we made the gloves a loot drop for defeating the bosses in the Land of the Morning Light.
However, the chance of obtaining them as loot is very low. Additionally, a new material called “Flame of Hongik,” similar to the “Flame of Despair” and “Flame of Frost,” is required to craft the gloves.
The materials for Flame of Hongik can be obtained through defeating bosses, as well as by collecting “Crystallized Despair,” in Elvia Calpheon.
Dahn’s Gloves were crafted with the motif of the gloves worn by King Taejo of Joseon, Yi Seong-gye, one of the greatest archers in the history of Korea.
Therefore, their appearance reflects its significance. Also, mark your calendars for the upcoming Caphras extraction event, which will start at the launch of the Land of the Morning Light.
