Dorin Morgrim’s Location
Dorin Morgrim is located inside an underground cave system in the Helm’s Post monster zone.
You will find a cave opening up in the hills after crossing a bridge.
You can safely park your horse on the bridge.
The dungeon entrance is guarded by a few Helm’s Post mobs.
The beam of light shows the locaton of the entrance to the dungeon cave system.
The light green trail is leading to Dorin Morgrim underground.
Dorin Morgrim is located at the bottom of the dungeon.
There are no mobs that spawn near him.
You could bring your horse, but the dungeon is filled with mobs that get in the way.
Dorin’s Stat Increase, Buff, & Item Requirement List (Detailed)
Item Drop Rate buff will stack with other item drop buffs, like the Item Collection Increase Scroll. It does NOT stack with other Adventure Log buffs.
Gear Requirements:
- Full max durability is NOT required.
- Remove any Reform or Caphras Stones.
- Bound boss gear from Season Boss Exchange Coupon will work. Keep in mind Tuvala will downgrade one enhancement level when the coupon is used.
- Awakened weapon (Dandelion), Blackstar, and blue boss gear (Liverto) does NOT work.

Black Stones via Grinding Spots
Grinding spots are a good way to obtain Black Stones. Starting in Valencia, you can obtain about 180 per hour in certain locations.
Since Black Stone is a rare drop, don’t forget to use your Item Drop Rate Items.
Desert Naga Temple (Low AP)
Desert Naga Temple has a good drop rate for Black Stones. But it also has other desirable traits.
Yona’s Fragments: 12 / hour (4 Yona’s + 2 Serap’s Necklaces)
Atanis Element: 4 / hour
Sealed Black Magic Crystal: 8 / hour- Black Stone: 182 / hour
Desert Naga Temple also gives Atanis Element, the pity drop for Infinite Pots.
It’s one of the best places to grind for Black Stone, given its difficulty level.
You will also get a good supply of Sealed Black Magic Crystal, which can be melted to make Magical Shards.
Cadry Ruins (Low AP)
Cadry Ruins is another lower AP grinding spot to obtain Black Stones.
Scroll Written in Ancient Language: 24 / hour- Yona’s Fragments: 14 / hour (6 Yona’s + 2 Ring of Cadry Guardian)
- Atanis Element: 3 / hour
- Sealed Black Magic Crystal: 8 / hour
- Black Stone: 182 / hour
Cadry Ruins also gives a good supply of Atanis Element for Infinite Pots, crystals to heat for Magical Shard, Scrolls for Memory Fragments, and Yona’s Fragment.

Is Dorin Morgim’s Secrets Worth the Cost?
It depends on your current gear. +1 AP and +1 DP can be bought for about 2 billion silver at the time of this writing, if you skip 3 chapters of Book 2.
Considering it buffs every character now and in the future, I think it’s well worth the price for a permanent +1 AP and DP.
You can buy all that you need from the marketplace, but it may not be in stock.
I had a hard time finding any +15, PRI, and DUO gear on the marketplace, but eventually got what I needed by digging through the marketplace listings for every single weapon, etc.
