Deve <Storage Keeper>
Deve’s Encyclopedia Basic UI
The items that you have to collect are shown to Deve, the <Storage Keeper> in Altinova. You just have to have them in your inventory to show him. You get to keep all of the items.
Interact with Deve (R) and select the “Chat” option.

- Completing one Book, opens up the next Book in the series
- When an Adventure Log’s Goal (quest) is completed, it will receive a sparkly highlight. Click it to receive your reward.
- A completion stamp will cover the reward, if you have already received it.
- Goals can be completed in any order within a Book.

You can also do the Ancient Gold Coin quest and get the other three coins from Pirates.
Book 1: Gold Bars: Nov 15: +1 HP
Collect 5 different types of gold bars. Exchange silver at the <Storage Keeper>. Also available via questing.
10,000G is hard for most to obtain. Gold Ingot is another option and is made via Processing > Heating Gold Ore/Shards. Purchase Gold Ore/Shards/Ingots from the Marketplace.
Gold Dust can also be heated into Gold. Dust is obtained via filtering water obtained inland with Empty Water Bottles.
Gold ore nodes can be gathered with a Pickaxe and are rarely obtained via other normal mining nodes if you have high Gathering Life Skill.

Many cities have a special <Furniture Dealer> that will sell a unique chair from that city for usually 500 to 600 Amity with that NPC and some Silver. For example:

Handcrafted Chairs have to be crafted via a recipe and a worker in the city workshop.
Note that Pearl Chairs will not work! The common green “Chair” will not count.

Book 4: Energy Items
Collect 7 types of items that restore Energy. These items are normally easy to obtain via the Marketplace.
NOTE: Hercules’ Might armor must be the base version and not Enhanced/Upgraded.
How to Craft Energy Potions: visit Alustin, the Alchemist, in any of his locations: Alustin in Alejandro Farm (NW of Heidel) or Alustin (Velia location). Also located in Glish, Port Epheria, Keplan, and The Great Library of Calpheon. He will have an option called Realization of Energy. This allows you to dump your energy into a potion. It exchanges in a 5 to 1 ratio, meaning you give 5 energy and store 1 Energy in the bottle. The Extra Large bottle has a slightly better ratio of 4:1.

Book 5: Collect 3 Dirt Items: Max HP +1
Collect 3 types of beautiful items made from dirt. Purchase at the marketplace or spend CP and purchase a Ceramic Workshop (Glish 2). Trade items from Port Ratt and Valencia work too.
Book 6: Collect 5 Pure Items: Max HP +1
Collect 5 different types of items to help find your initial intentions. You can use any items with the word “Pure” in them such as pure liquid reagent or pure crystals. Purchase at the marketplace.
Book 6: Rich Clothing
Collect 1 type of item that makes you look rich. Buy a Calpheon Noble outfit at the marketplace or craft one.
Crafting yourself requires 400 amity with Merv, in Calpheon City. Craft in any level 2 Costume Mill. There are two in Calpheon City. (Merchant Lane 2-5, 1F or Noble Quarter 1-6)



Book 6: Tear Items
Collect 2 types of items to seek redemption from that barren feeling.
Buy the Aal’s Tear from a Material Vendor and Tear of the Great Ocean from marketplace.

You can use “Mirror of Equilibrium” from Hughol in Duvencrune for 4-2 in place of the Fogan Skin Oil. If you’re like me and never bothered to do trading, it’s only 10m. Tested and verified by me.

After a time of trying all of the flowers, I was informed by a GM that he is allergic to Special version.
White Flower Mushroom no longer works for Book 1. Had it in inventory and did not come up with the prompt.
Book 1: Flowers: These DO NOT STACK. Keep that in mind, so no you can’t use a Sunflower and Special Sunflower to hit 10.
Book 1: Coins: Do the Ancient Gold Coin quest and just get the other three coins from Pirates.
Book 3: Keys: Just buy 100 silver keys, 1 silver key, and do the daily for the Bronze key, located in Glish.
Book 4: Appearance items: I did want to say only Silk Honey Grass worked, high quality did not, neither did green.
The Artisan’s Stuffed Llama does not work for Book 2: Stuffed Heads.

Book 3: Underwater Items can use the Splash Swimming Goggles, they’re a craftable (Heidel 2-3 Costume Mill lvl2) better version of the Vadabin Diving Mask.
The ***** golden troupe coin does NOT work.
